Full installation manual for the SECO-LARM Enforcer Wave-To-Open Sensors (SD-927PKC-NEQ and SD-927PKC-NEVQ), which use IR technology to request egress or activate a device with a simple wave of the hand — ideal for hospitals, clinics, labs, cleanrooms, schools, factories, or offices where touch-free operation reduces contamination risk. The SD-927PKC-NEVQ adds a manual override button as a backup to the sensor.

Installation

1. Run four wires through the wall to a single-gang back-box.
2. Connect the four wires from the back-box to the quick-connect screw-less terminal block (Power Input: (–)/(+); Relay output: COM/NO/NC).
3. Screw the plate into the back-box, taking care not to crimp the wires.
4. Remove the clear protective film from the sensor before use.

Adjusting the LED Color

Factory default: red (standby) / green (triggered). To reverse (green standby / red triggered), remove the jumper located at the right side of the terminal block.

Adjusting Sensor Range & Output Timer

Turn the sensor-range trimpot counterclockwise to decrease range or clockwise to increase. Turn the output-time trimpot counterclockwise to decrease or clockwise to increase the hold time; turn it all the way counterclockwise to set toggle mode.

Sample Installation Wiring

• With Electric Lock: Access control power supply feeds the sensor; relay output (COM/NO/NC) drives a SECO-LARM electric strike (fail secure) or electromagnetic lock (fail safe).
• With Electromagnetic Lock and Keypad: Combines the Wave-To-Open sensor with an SK-1011-SDQ digital keypad and an electromagnetic lock, sharing the access control power supply and tamper output (N.C.).
• Override Button Wiring (SD-927PKC-NEVQ only): The manual override button wires as a backup path to the electric lock — blue wire (COM to N.C.), purple wire (N.O.), green wire (N.C.). The override button's COM terminal (marked with a red dot) connects to the NC terminal.

Care & Cleaning

Designed for indoor use. Use a soft, clean cloth; never spray liquids directly on the unit — spray cleaning solution onto the cloth instead, and wipe off any excess liquid (wet spots can affect sensor performance).
