Complete installation and programming manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER™ E-922CPQ Voice Dialer, which dials up to 6 phone numbers with a custom recorded alarm message when triggered.
Complete installation and programming manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER™ E-922CPQ Voice Dialer.
When triggered by an alarm system, the ENFORCER Voice Dialer can dial up to 6 numbers (up to 3 times per number) and deliver an 18-second user-recorded message, repeating up to two times. The last 6 seconds of the message can be individually customized for each of the three trigger inputs. Each number can hold up to 14 digits, including the number, tones, and pauses. The receiver can then listen in, stop further dialing, or trigger an auxiliary relay output connected to an external device such as a door lock, siren, or strobe light. The user can also call in remotely to listen in or trigger/turn off the auxiliary relay. For single-line analog or VOIP telephone systems (may work with some digital/PBX systems depending on the system).
1x Voice dialer unit, 2x wall mount screws, 2x plastic wall anchors, 1x user manual.
| Operating voltage | 10–18 VDC |
| Current draw | Standby: 50mA@12VDC; Dialing: 200mA@12VDC |
| Phone system | Single-line analog or VOIP (may work with some digital systems) |
| Alarm message length | 12s site message + 6s individual message per input |
| Programmable alarm numbers | 6, up to 14 digits each |
| Dial attempts / message repeat | Up to 3 attempts per number; message repeats 1–2 times |
| Trigger inputs (1–3, Inhibit) | Programmable high (>3.5V, max 15V) or low (<1V), N.O. or N.C. |
| Auxiliary output | 2A@24VDC, NO/NC, programmable 1–255s |
| Operating temperature | 32°–140°F (0°–60°C) |
| Weight | 15.9 oz (450g) |
| Dimensions | 4-1/16" x 5-9/16" x 1-11/16" (104 x 142 x 43 mm) |
Two typical setups are shown in the manual:
Note: If the Inhibit input is not used, program it as Low N.C. (L-NC) — see Setting the Trigger Level below.
All programming happens in Setup Mode. If no key is pressed for 20 seconds while in setup mode, the dialer automatically exits back to standby.
Navigate to "01 Alarm Number," press ENTER, choose one of up to 6 number slots with UP/DOWN, type the number (up to 14 digits, including area code if required), and press ENTER to save (single beep confirms).
Navigate to "01 Alarm Number," select the number to delete with UP/DOWN and ENTER, then press ENTER again to confirm deletion.
Up to 4 messages: Message 0 (site message, up to 12 seconds, plays first) plus Messages 1–3 (up to 6 seconds each, one per trigger input, playing after the site message). Navigate to "02 REC/PLAY," select the message number (0–3), press 0 to record or 1 to play back. Recording stops automatically at the time limit, or press ENTER to stop early; playback follows automatically for review.
Tip from the manual: record a helpful site message reminder, e.g. "{Your name}'s security alarm has been activated. Press 3 to repeat, 4 to listen in, or 0 to stop dialing and return to standby."
Either way, you can remotely stop the dialing cycle from the receiving phone (see Remote Control by Telephone below).
Each input (IP1, IP2, IP3, INH) can be individually set:
Shows which input triggered and which number was dialed, e.g. "Trigger IP-1 / 5555551212."
Navigate to "07 Password," view/confirm the current PIN, press ENTER, type the new 4-digit PIN, and press ENTER to save. If you forget the PIN, you must reset the dialer (deletes all settings/data): disconnect power, then power up while holding ENTER until you hear one long beep.
Navigate to "08 Test Number," select the number to test with UP/DOWN, and press ENTER to place the call. Monitor progress through the built-in speaker; press ESC to interrupt.
0 = Silent, 1 = Medium (default), 2 = Loud. A single beep confirms an action; four rapid beeps signal an error.
Select 0–9 rings before the dialer answers for remote call-in access (default: 5).
Select 1–255 seconds for how long the auxiliary output stays triggered (default: 10s).
Select 1 or 2 (default: 1) for how many times the message plays at each number called.
The dialer is always active when powered. In stand-alone mode it has no entry delay, so if an input is accidentally triggered it will start dialing immediately. To stop it and return to standby: press ESC, type the 4-digit PIN, then press ENTER.
When called, the receiver hears the pre-recorded message and can press a function code within 10 seconds after the message ends (and a second code within 10 more seconds for another function). If there's no response within 20 seconds, the dialer hangs up.
| Function | Code |
|---|---|
| Set dialer to play messages once | 1 |
| Set dialer to play messages twice | 2 |
| Repeat the message | 3 |
| Listen in for 30 seconds (press again to continue) | 4 |
| Stop dialing, return to standby | 0 |
| Function | Code |
|---|---|
| Listen in for 30 seconds (press again to continue) | 4 |
| Activate the auxiliary output for the set time | 8 |
| Trigger or stop the auxiliary output | 9 |
Resetting deletes all settings and data. Disconnect power, then power up while holding ENTER until you hear a single long beep.
