SECO-LARM ENFORCER SK-1323 / SK-2323 Series — Outdoor Stand-Alone Keypad Manual

Full manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER SK-1323 / SK-2323 series Outdoor Stand-Alone Weatherproof Keypads. Covers mullion-style (SK-2323) and sealed-environment (SK-1323) keypads, with or without a built-in proximity card reader (SPQ models). Handles up to 1,010 user codes with 2 independently programmable relay outputs.

Specifications

Wiring Diagram

Connect a continuous Earth Ground wire (Green) to a grounding point (grounded metal conduit, cold water pipe, or grounding rod) to prevent static discharge damage. Use 18AWG minimum for earth ground; all other wiring must be at least 22AWG.

First-Time Programming

1. Enter Programming Mode: enter the default Master Code twice — 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5
2. SPQ models only: Set the Output #1 Access Mode (default: user cards only). Enter 0, then: 0+0 for cards only, 0+1 for card OR code, 0+2 for card WITH code (highest security).
3. Program a new Master Code: enter 3, then the new 5-digit code twice.
4. Program an Output #1 user code: enter a 3-digit user ID (000–999), then a new 5-digit code. Up to 1,000 Output #1 codes can be stored.

Using the Keypad

• User code: Enter the 5-digit code directly (do not enter the user ID number — that's only used during programming).
• User card (SPQ): Hold the card in front of the keypad; it beeps once when read.
• Card + code: Swipe the card, then immediately enter the code (order can be reversed).

Wrong Code Lockout: 5 consecutive wrong codes/cards triggers a 1-minute lockout during which no entries are accepted. Continued button presses/card swipes during lockout extend the lockout period.

Programming Reference

An Output #1 user code/card may not duplicate the Master Code or any Output #2 code. Likewise Output #2 codes/cards may not duplicate the Master Code or Output #1 codes.

Resetting the Keypad

Manually resetting a forgotten Master Code: Disconnect power, hold down the # key, reconnect power while still holding #, and after 3 seconds the keypad beeps to confirm — Master Code resets to 12345 (does not affect the Master Card, user codes, or other data).

Important Safety Notes

• If used with a mechanically operated door or gate, mount the keypad at least 5' (1.5m) away to prevent users from being crushed or pinned. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.
• Always disconnect power before servicing.
• The keypad must be properly grounded with a minimum 22AWG wire to the green Earth Ground wire, or the keypad may be damaged.
• All wiring and programming should be done by a professional installer.

SECO-LARM warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of sale to the original consumer customer, limited to repair or replacement (transportation prepaid to SECO-LARM). Void if damage results from misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized alteration, or faulty installation.
