Installation manual for the SECO-LARM Enforcer illuminated push-to-exit square button — covering the SD-7202GC-PEQ (stainless plate), SD-7202GC-PTQ (stainless plate with built-in timer), and SD-7223GW-LQ (white plastic plate). A large illuminated button captioned "PUSH TO EXIT," field-changeable to the Spanish "PRESIONE PARA SALIR."

Installation

1. Run four wires through the wall to a single-gang back-box: two for the 12VDC/24VDC light power, one from the N.O. or N.C. terminal of the alarm/access-control device that unlocks the electric lock, and one from that device's COM terminal.
2. Connect the four included colored wires to the switch: two GREEN wires to the brass-colored spade connectors on each side of the black switch; GREEN/WHITE to the N.C. connector (if needed); BLUE/WHITE to the N.O. connector (if needed); WHITE to the COM connector.
3. Connect those same colored wires to your system wiring and the light's power source: the two GREEN wires to your 12VDC or 24VDC source (if using 24VDC, wire the supplied 150-ohm 1-watt resistor in line with one of the GREEN wires); GREEN/WHITE to the alarm/access-control system's N.C. terminal (if needed); BLUE/WHITE to its N.O. terminal (if needed); WHITE to its COM terminal.
4. Screw the plate into the back-box, taking care not to crimp any wires.

Changing the Message Plate (English ↔ Spanish)

Do this before connecting any wires.

1. Twist the switch/bulb assembly counter-clockwise about 20° and pull it out of the black tube.
2. Insert the blunt end of a small tool (~3/8" diameter, e.g. a screwdriver or pen) into the black tube until it contacts the inside of the front lens/message plate assembly, then push until the assembly pops off. Be careful not to lose the spring.
3. Remove the transparent green lens and swap the "PUSH TO EXIT" message plate for "PRESIONE PARA SALIR" (or vice versa), making sure the plate orientation is correct.
4. Snap the lens assembly back on and reinstall the switch/bulb assembly.

Wiring the SD-7202GC-PTQ Timer Module

1. Connect 1 GREEN wire to the brass-colored spade connector on each side of the black switch.
2. Connect 12-24V AC or DC power (non-polarity) to the timer module's power input terminal block.
3. Connect an N.O. or N.C. device to the relay output terminal block as required.
4. Connect the buzzer's positive and negative wires to the buzzer output terminal block, if needed.
5. Set the desired time (1-180 sec.) via the VR rotary knob — clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. Test to confirm the timer is set correctly.

Note: the terminal legend can also be found printed on the back of the PCB.

Warranty

Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of sale to the original consumer customer. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part, transportation prepaid to SECO-LARM. Void if damage results from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or unauthorized alteration.
