    Overview — Unit Layout

    The unit includes a power output switch, output indicator LEDs, power output terminals, a power input socket, and an output voltage trimpot (location varies by model).

    Installation

    1. Find a suitable installation location — out of sight, protected from weather and high humidity, with adequate ventilation. Insufficient ventilation may cause overheating and damage.
    2. Remove one or more cable knock-outs depending on the number of connections needed. Use an optional bushing, grommet, or sleeve to protect wires passing through.
    3. Screw the power supply to the wall or mounting surface using 5/32" × 1" (4×26 mm) screws and plastic anchors (not included). Screw in the top screw(s) first and hang the unit, then screw in the bottom screws to fully secure it.
    4. Plug the power cable into the power input socket.
    5. WARNING: Always test output voltage before connecting devices to the power supply.
    6. Connect cameras and other devices to the power outputs, observing correct polarity (Positive +, Negative −). Use 18-gauge or larger wire to minimize voltage drop.
    7. If voltage drop is significant, adjust the output voltage trimpot. Note: the trimpot changes voltage for all outputs by ±10% — test all outputs afterward to ensure voltage does not exceed connected device specifications.

    Installation Notes

    Input Voltage Switching (PC-U1820-PULQ & PC-U1830-PULQ only)

    For 220VAC input voltage, locate the input voltage switch on the bottom of the enclosure and switch it from 110V to 220V as needed.

    This SECO-LARM product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of sale to the original customer, under normal service. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts if the unit is returned, transportation prepaid, to SECO-LARM. Void if damage results from misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, or improper installation.
