Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER Illuminated Push-to-Exit Square Button — models SD-7202GC-PEQ (stainless plate), SD-7202GC-PTQ (stainless plate with timer), and SD-7223GW-LQ (plastic white plate).

Features

• Large, illuminated push button captioned "PUSH TO EXIT" — field-changeable to "PRESIONE PARA SALIR" (Spanish).
• Push button rated 10A at 125~250VAC (3A @ 24VDC for the PTQ timer version).
• Includes five colored 12-inch wire leads with spade lugs for fast installation.
• Available in stainless-steel or plastic single-gang plate; replacement bulb included.
• SD-7223GW-LQ = white plastic single-gang plate version.
• SD-7202GC-PTQ includes a timer module to extend activation time up to 180 seconds.

Note: Model numbers ending in "Q," or units with a round green "Q" sticker, are RoHS compliant.

Installation

1. Run four wires through the wall to a single-gang back-box: two wires for 12VDC or 24VDC light power, one wire from the N.O. or N.C. terminal of the alarm/access control device, and one wire from that device's COM terminal.
2. Connect the four included colored wires to the switch: two GREEN wires to the brass-colored spade connectors on each side of the black switch; GREEN/WHITE to the N.C. connector (if needed); BLUE/WHITE to the N.O. connector (if needed); WHITE to the COM connector.
3. Connect the colored wires to the alarm/access control system and light power source: the two GREEN wires to 12VDC or 24VDC (if 24VDC, wire the supplied 150-ohm 1-watt resistor in-line with one GREEN wire); GREEN/WHITE to the N.C. terminal; BLUE/WHITE to the N.O. terminal; WHITE to the COM terminal.
4. Screw the plate into the back-box, taking care not to crimp the wires.

Changing the Message Plate (English ⇄ Spanish)

Do this before connecting any wires.

1. Carefully twist the switch and bulb assembly counter-clockwise about 20° and pull it out of the black tube.
2. Insert the blunt end of a small tool (~3/8" diameter, e.g. a screwdriver or pen) into the black tube until it contacts the lens/message plate assembly, then push until the assembly pops off. Be careful not to lose the spring.
3. Remove the transparent green lens and swap the "PUSH TO EXIT" plate for the "PRESIONE PARA SALIR" plate (or vice versa), ensuring correct orientation.
4. Snap the lens assembly back on and replace the switch/bulb assembly.

Wiring for SD-7202GC-PTQ (Timer Module Version)

1. Connect one GREEN wire to the brass-colored spade connector on each side of the black switch.
2. Connect 12~24 volts AC or DC power (non-polarized) to the timer module's power input terminal block.
3. Connect an N.O. or N.C. device to the relay output terminal block as required.
4. Connect the positive and negative buzzer wires to the buzzer output terminal block if needed.
5. Set the desired activation time (1~180 sec.) via the VR rotary knob — clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. Test to confirm correct timing.

Note: the terminal legend can be found on the back of the PCB.

Warranty

Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of sale to the original consumer customer. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts; the unit must be returned transportation-prepaid. Warranty is void for damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, or improper installation.
