    Full manual for the SECO-LARM SK-3133-PPQ Enforcer Heavy-Duty Outdoor Access Control Keypad with built-in proximity card reader. Rugged stainless steel faceplate, IP66 weatherproof rating, 12~24 VAC/VDC auto-adjusting operation, and support for up to 1,000 user codes and/or proximity cards.

    ⚠ Important Safety Warning

    IF USING THE KEYPAD WITH A MECHANICALLY OPERATED DOOR OR GATE, MOUNT THE KEYPAD AT LEAST 15' (5m) FROM THE DOOR OR GATE TO PREVENT USERS FROM BEING CRUSHED OR PINNED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

    • Always disconnect power before servicing the keypad. Do not apply power until all connection wiring is complete.
    • The keypad must be properly grounded using a minimum 22AWG wire connected to the common ground output.
    • Allow at least 2ft (60cm) between this and any other keypads to avoid interference.
    • All wiring and programming should be done by a professional installer.

    Installation Steps

    1. Unlock the keylock on the face of the keypad with one of the included keys.
    2. Remove the tamper screw from the bottom of the keypad using the included security wrench.
    3. Open the faceplate — the hinge lets it hang open during installation.
    4. Remove the 1" wiring hole cover from the back of the keypad housing.
    5. Install the keypad using the included mounting screws and anchors (if needed). For gooseneck stand mounting, use the 4 mounting plate holes on the back of the housing.
    6. Remove the inner plastic back box to access the terminals.
    7. Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
    8. Finish assembly: replace the inner back box, close and lock the keypad, and replace the tamper screw.

    Jumper Settings

    • Backlit — Full: Dim backlit during standby, full backlit for 10 seconds after any button press.
    • Backlit — Auto: No backlight during standby, full backlit for 10 seconds after any button press.
    • K or A — K (Keypress): Switches to ground for 10 seconds after any button press.
    • K or A — A (Alarm): Switches to ground when an alarm occurs, to trigger an optional auxiliary alarm.

    Quick Programming (Basic Setup)

    For a new master code, a single 4-digit user code for all users (no proximity cards), one output to unlock a door, and a 3-second delay:

    1. Turn off the power-up beeping before the 1-minute period ends.
    2. Enter Programming Mode using the default master programming code 0000.
    3. Change the master programming code to your new code.
    4. Set the user code for User ID #000 to operate output #1 (unlocks the door).
    5. Set the output #1 delay time to 3 seconds (default is 5 seconds).
    6. Exit Programming Mode.

    A flashing amber LED indicates standby mode; a solid amber LED indicates programming mode.

    Security Levels

    1. Card only — Tap a previously-programmed proximity card to activate an output.
    2. User code only — Type a 4-to-8-digit code to activate an output.
    3. Card + common user code — All valid cards share one common code; both must be used together.
    4. Card + unique user code — Each card has its own code; the most secure option.

    The Direct Access to Programming (DAP) code 2828 and the system restore code 9999 are fixed and cannot be changed.

    Duress Codes

    Duress codes allow a user to trigger a silent alarm while appearing to unlock the door normally. If a user enters a duress code instead of their normal code, outputs activate as usual, but the duress output simultaneously activates. A duress code cannot deactivate the duress output — only a normal user code/card, super user code, or master programming code can. Duress codes cannot be the same as any other user code (e.g., subtract 1 from the last digit of a real user code).

    Direct Access to Programming (DAP) — Forgotten Master Code Recovery

    1. Disconnect the keypad's power and wait one minute.
    2. Reconnect power — the keypad will beep repeatedly for one minute.
    3. While beeping, press the egress button once to stop the beeping (or briefly jumper the egress input to common ground if no button is installed).
    4. Enter DAP code 2828.
    5. The amber LED turns ON, indicating readiness to program a new master programming code.

    DAP does not reset any other programming — for a full reset, use System Restore (code 9999 while in programming mode).

    Troubleshooting

    Issue Solution
    User code doesn't work Make sure you programmed a User Code, not a Super User or Common User Code. Try deleting super/common user codes and reprogramming.
    Master programming code doesn't work Use the DAP process to reset it.
    Keypad constantly beeps on power-up Normal operation — press 12# to stop the beeping early.
