Quick-start guide for the Nuvo Player App by Legrand — the mobile control app for Nuvo Player Portfolio distributed audio systems, covering zones, music navigation, playback, settings, and streaming service setup.

    Overview

The Nuvo Player app provides quick, easy mobile access to your Nuvo Player Portfolio Audio System, letting you fill any room in your home with high-fidelity music from your personal library or a streaming service — with just a touch. It's available for iOS and Android via the App Store or Google Play.

    Dashboard Screens

Zones — Get In Your Zone

Each zone icon represents a room. Drag a zone icon from the bottom of the dashboard into the start zone area above to begin playing music in that room — a zone grouping automatically appears, advancing you to the music navigation screen.

    • Get out of the zone: drag a zone icon back into the open dashboard area to stop playback there.
    • Get back to the zone: once removed, a zone stays in standby for later selection — begin a new grouping or add the standby zone to an active grouping to resume.

    Settings

Tap the settings icon to customize your Nuvo system — add zones, access software updates, and add streaming services to your music choices.

    Music Navigation Screen

Scroll through the music selection ribbon to choose what to play. Options "spin" as you swipe left or right, including:

    • A personal music library selection
    • A line-in source (laptop, cable box, TV)
    • Direct streaming from your iOS/Android device
    • Access to a streaming service
    • Music from a Bluetooth-enabled device on the same network (Nuvo P200 player only)

    Display Screen

Once you make a selection from the music navigation ribbon, Nuvo displays a menu for that music choice. Enter a keyword in the search field, or pick a menu item and follow the on-screen prompts to start playback.

    Now Playing Screen

Shows details for the currently playing song; tap the drop-down arrow to expand the "up next" section. Tap the appropriate icon to return to the music selection screen or back to your zones. Playback controls (skip, pause, replay, etc.) depend entirely on the source you selected — matching what you'd expect from that music provider directly.

    Adding a Streaming Service

    1. Open the Nuvo Player App and tap the settings icon.
    2. Select Music Services.
    3. Tap Add service.
    4. Choose your streaming service and enter your username/password if prompted, then start streaming.

Note: if the service requires an online subscription, make sure you have an active subscription before adding it.

    Compatibility Notes

    • Streaming service availability is subject to geographic restrictions.
    • Bluetooth streaming is only available on the Nuvo P200 player.
    • Spotify streams via Spotify Connect (spotify.com/us/connect).
    • To stream iTunes content, download the Nuvo Music Share software from legrand.us/nuvo/musicshare.
