    On-Screen Display (OSD) reference for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER 4-in-1 HD Cameras (models EV-Y1201-A2WQ, EV-Y1201-AMWQ, EV-Y2201-A2WQ, EV-Y2201-A2GQ, EV-Y2201-AMWQ, EV-Y2201-AMGQ, EV-Y2201-AMWAQ, EV-Y6201-A3WQ) — 4-in-1 cameras supporting TVI, CVI, AHD, and Analog (CVBS) outputs, controlled via a built-in joystick and on-screen menu.

    Programmable Features

    • Multiple Output Formats: Switch between AHD, CVI, TVI, and CVBS.
    • Exposure: Adjust shutter speed, automatic gain control (AGC), and defog settings.
    • Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR): Clear images even with varying backlight.
    • Back Light Compensation (BLC): Properly expose subjects in front of bright light sources.
    • Highlight Suppression BLC (HSBLC): Define target areas and remove spotlights to keep objects visible.
    • White Balance: Adjust color temperature/image color.
    • Day & Night: Adjust the ambient light level that triggers color/B&W switching.
    • Digital Noise Reduction (DNR): Reduce interference in low-light areas.
    • Privacy: Block out or distort a portion of the image.
    • Motion Detection: Detect and highlight motion in the scene.

    Using the OSD Controller

    1. Press down on the joystick to open the OSD menu.
    2. Use the joystick to navigate the menu (up/down to move between items, left/right to change settings).
    3. Press down (enter) on the joystick to select an item.
    4. After choosing settings, move the cursor to EXIT and select SAVE & END, RESET, or NOT SAVE.

    Switching Between HD Analog Output Formats

    Press the joystick controller in the direction of the desired format and hold for 5 seconds — the camera restarts in the new format.

    Main Menu Overview

    The OSD main menu is organized into the following sections. Each drills into settings and defaults noted below.

    Lens

    • MANUAL: For manual/fixed lens cameras.
    • DC: For DC Auto Iris lenses. Set MODE to INDOOR or OUTDOOR (outdoor allows MIN SHUTTER 1/30, MAX SHUTTER up to 1/50000) and IRIS SPEED (0-15, default 0).

    Exposure

    • SHUTTER: AUTO, 1/30~1/5000, x2~x30 (default AUTO). Not available if lens is set to DC Auto Iris.
    • AGC: 0-15 (default 15) — improves picture brightness in low light.
    • SENS-UP: Digital slow shutter for darker images. OFF or AUTO (x2~x30, default x4). Only available if SHUTTER is AUTO or 1/30 and AGC ≠ 0.
    • BRIGHTNESS: 0-100 (default 40).
    • D-WDR: OFF / ON (LEVEL 0-8, default 5) / AUTO.
    • DEFOG: OFF / AUTO (with position/size adjustment and GRADATION 0-2, default 0).

    Backlight

    • OFF: Disables BLC and HSBLC.
    • BLC: LEVEL (LOW/MIDDLE/HIGH, default MIDDLE), adjustable AREA zone.
    • HSBLC: Up to 4 areas — DISPLAY (default ON), BLACK MASK (default ON), LEVEL 0-100 (default 70), MODE (ALL DAY or NIGHT with AGC LEVEL threshold 0-255, default 48).

    White Balance

    • ATW: Automatic tracking, 3,200°K~9,200°K.
    • AWC → SET: Point camera at a blank white sheet and press enter to manually set.
    • INDOOR: 2,800°K~5,600°K. OUTDOOR: 3,200°K~6,400°K.
    • MANUAL: BLUE and RED gain, each 0-100 (default 50).
    • AWB: Automatic, 2,800°K~6,400°K.

    Day & Night

    • EXT: Uses the integrated IR CDS sensor. D→N and N→D delay, each 0-60 (default 1).
    • AUTO: Switches based on AGC threshold. D→N AGC 1-255 (default 240), N→D AGC 1-255 (default 100), plus delay settings.
    • COLOR: Force color mode at all times. B/W: Force B&W, with BURST toggle and Smart IR (LEVEL 0-15, default 1).

    Noise Reduction (NR)

    • 2DNR: For general lighting, OFF~HIGH (default MIDDLE).
    • 3DNR: For low light, OFF~HIGH (default MIDDLE) — higher levels reduce noise but may increase after-images.

    Special

    • CAM TITLE: On/off, up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
    • D-EFFECT: FREEZE, MIRROR (horizontal/vertical/both), NEG. IMAGE.
    • MOTION: Up to 4 zones. SENSITIVITY 0-100 (default 64), COLOR (Green/Blue/White/Red), TRANS 0.00-1.00 (default 1.00), and ALARM settings (VIEW TYPE: OFF/BLOCK/OUTLINE/ALL, OSD VIEW, TIME 0-15 sec default 3).
    • PRIVACY: Up to 4 zones, DISPLAY as MOSAIC/INV/COLOR, 8 color options, TRANS 0.00-1.00.
    • LANGUAGE: English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish.
    • DEFECT (DPC): LIVE DPC (auto-compensates false pixels), WHITE DPC, and BLACK DPC — each with position/size, START calibration, DPC VIEW, and LEVEL settings.
    • RS485: Not used on this model.

    Adjust

    • SHARPNESS: OFF or AUTO (LEVEL 0-10 default 6, START/END AGC thresholds).
    • MONITOR: LCD or CRT presets — BLACK LEVEL, GAMMA (LCD only), BLUE/RED GAIN.
    • LSC: Lens Shading Correction (on/off).
    • VIDEO OUT: NTSC or PAL.
    • COMET: Switches image to black & white.

    Exit

    • SAVE & END: Save changes and exit.
    • RESET: Restore factory defaults and exit.
    • NOT SAVE: Exit without saving.

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Solution
    The screen is blank Check camera and monitor power, power supply polarity, and video cable connection.
    The screen image is dim Clean the lens with a soft, clean cloth. Check that the light source is adequate.
    Strong backlight overpowers the image Change the D-WDR or Backlight settings.
    Image has too much digital noise Change the DNR settings.
    The screen image is distorted Change the position of the camera.
    Motion detection is not activated Activate MOTION DET in the Setup Menu and properly define the motion detection area.
    IR LEDs do not turn on Check that the correct power supply is in use.

    Warranty

    This SECO-LARM product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of sale to the original customer, when used in normal service. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. Not covered: damage from acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, or faulty installation.
