    Installation Overview

This device can be mounted on a ceiling or on a wall, depending on room layout and desired coverage. Installation follows a simple 6-step process:

    1. Choose installation location — ceiling or wall mount, keeping the distance/noise spacing above in mind.
    2. Secure to surface using the included mounting hardware.
    3. Remove the face plate to access the battery compartment.
    4. Remove the battery tab to activate the device.
    5. Replace the face plate.
    6. Learn the sensor into the panel — place your IQ Panel in "autolearn" mode, open and close the sensor case to trigger a tamper signal so the panel detects it, then customize the sensor's name and settings and touch "ADD."
