Product guide for the Russound MBX-AMP Wi-Fi Streaming Zone Amplifier, a compact streaming audio player with built-in amplifier.
Product guide for the Russound MBX-AMP, a Wi-Fi streaming zone amplifier that pairs a full-featured streaming audio player with a built-in amplifier — ideal for adding high-quality sound to a thin-screen TV or any room needing a compact, wirelessly-controlled audio zone.
The MBX-AMP is one of two products in Russound's MBX streaming family (the MBX-PRE is the preamp-only, non-amplified counterpart). It solves two common problems: thin flat-screen TVs with poor built-in speaker quality, and the need for simple wireless streaming from mobile devices and streaming services. The small form factor makes for a clean, uncluttered install, and voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home is supported through built-in Chromecast functionality.
