    Overview

    • Compatible with Optex RC-10U / RG-10U receivers
    • Weatherproof, IP54-rated for outdoor/indoor door and window installation
    • 8+ million transmission codes to avoid interference/duplication
    • Powered by a CR123 lithium battery
    • Maximum transmission range: 700 ft. in open field (actual range will be lower indoors/with obstructions)

    Safety Cautions

    • Suitable for outdoor use, but observe the rated temperature/humidity limits.
    • Transmission range is affected by walls, metal objects, and other RF interference.
    • Replace the battery when the low-battery indicator appears, using a CR123 lithium battery only.

    Installation Overview

    1. Install the battery in the transmitter per the diagram (page 2).
    2. Teach the transmitter's code to the RC-10U/RG-10U receiver (learning mode).
    3. Mount using either double-stick tape or the included screws — align the transmitter and magnet units per the operating condition diagram (page 1).
    4. Confirm operation by opening/closing the door or window and checking the receiver response.

    Troubleshooting

    • If the receiver doesn't respond, re-teach the transmitter code to the receiver.
    • Check magnet-to-transmitter distance is within spec (see operating condition diagram).
    • Verify the battery is fresh and correctly installed.
    • If range is marginal, reposition the receiver or transmitter to reduce obstructions/interference.
