    Safety Warnings

    • Warning: Do not remove the PCB. Failure to follow warning instructions may cause death or serious injury.
    • Caution: Do not touch the PCB except for the DIP switch. Failure to follow caution instructions may cause injury and/or property damage.

    Mounting Guidelines

    • Mounting height: 0.8 – 1.2 m (2'7" – 3'11")
    • Keep the detector parallel to the ground — do not tilt.
    • Consider the direction a person is approaching from, as well as the detection area.
    • Install away from false-alarm factors: sunlight/reflection, heat sources, objects moving in the wind.

    Parts Identification

Components: Mounting base, screw cap, bracket, main unit cover, transmitter compartment, main unit, lens, screws (x2), fixture.

Included accessories: Connector for POWER and ALARM; connector for TROUBLE; screw kit (wall mounting screws, 3 x 20mm).

Note: Transmitter and battery are NOT included.

    Detection Area

Top view: adjustable range up to 95° (by 5° pitch), both upper and lower zones, extending up to 5m on each side. Side view: coverage measured at mounting heights of 0.8m, 1.0m, and 1.2m across the 0–5m range, for both the 5m and 2m detection length settings.

    Wiring

    Wire Color Function
    Red Power input (+)
    Black Power input (-)
    White / Yellow Alarm
    Green / Blue Trouble
    • The battery in the transmitter is shared with the detector.
    • The TROUBLE connection is used when monitoring for tamper and anti-mask conditions.

    Transmitter Preparation

    Compatible internal transmitter compartment dimensions:

    • H 140 x W 38 x D 13.5 mm (H 5.51" x W 1.50" x D 0.53")
    • or H 106 x W 31.5 x D 19 mm (H 4.17" x W 1.24" x D 0.75")

    Wiring configuration options:

    • To monitor only ALARM with a transmitter that has 1 external input, use the Connector for POWER and ALARM.
    • To monitor both ALARM and TROUBLE with a transmitter that has 2 external inputs, use both the Connector for TROUBLE and the Connector for POWER and ALARM.
    • When monitoring ALARM and TROUBLE using a transmitter with only 1 external input: if the external input is Normally Closed (N.C.), set DIP switch 3 to OFF; if Normally Open (N.O.), set DIP switch 3 to ON.

Walk Test & DIP Switch Settings

The detector supports a Walk Test Mode plus DIP switch configuration for: Battery Saving Timer, Alarm & Trouble Output, LED behavior, PIR Sensitivity, and Anti-Masking (RAM model).

    Battery

The manual covers battery replacement procedure and expected battery life — battery and transmitter are sold separately and must meet the internal compartment dimensions listed above.
