Overview

On-Q Network Interface Modules terminate up to 8 data lines to connect high-speed devices — computers, smart TVs, gaming systems, network streaming devices — to the home network with a future-proof connection. Available in three module types to support Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 6a cable connections (this datasheet covers the AC106A6 (Cat 6a) variant, part of the same family as AC1058 Cat 5e and AC1068 Cat 6).

Installation

Attach a Cat5e/Cat6 patch cable from the module's RJ45 connector to a network router or switch to extend data connectivity to the corresponding wall location. The module mounts directly into any On-Q metal or plastic structured wiring enclosure.
