Nuvo Player Portfolio — Limited Warranty

Limited Warranty terms for Nuvo Player Portfolio products, manufactured by Legrand. This warranty went into effect September 1, 2015.

Warranty Coverage

Except for any express warranty included within a specific product's packaging, Legrand warrants all Nuvo Player Portfolio products to be free of defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty:

• Applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable
• Applies and is valid only in the United States (for products purchased outside the U.S., the Authorized Nuvo Dealer may provide equivalent coverage)

Exclusions

• Defects caused by wear and tear, misuse, accidents, voltage excess, acts of nature (fire, flood, lightning, natural disasters), or neglect
• Legrand does not warrant error-free or uninterrupted operation
• Problems caused by third-party accessories or components
• Product purchased and/or used outside the U.S.

Warranty Voided If:

• The unit has been altered or modified
• The serial number has been removed or defaced
• The product was not purchased from an Authorized Nuvo Dealer

How to Obtain Service

Ship the defective product, together with proof of purchase and purchaser contact information, to either the Authorized Nuvo Dealer where it was purchased or directly to Legrand at: 3015 Kustom Drive, Hebron, KY 41048. The purchaser must pay all handling and transportation charges and bear the risk of loss or damage in transit — freight collect shipments will be refused.

If the Authorized Nuvo Dealer or Legrand determines the unit was defective in materials or workmanship, Legrand will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product at no additional charge. If the model is no longer available or cannot be repaired, Legrand may replace it with a current model of equal or greater value. Legrand retains all defective parts and products replaced under warranty, and ships repaired/replacement products, freight prepaid, only to the original purchaser.

Additional Exclusions

• Damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, accident, disaster, or voltage overload beyond the Product's rated maximum
• Improper packing or shipping procedures
• Repair or modification not authorized or approved by Legrand
• Normal discoloration caused by environmental conditions

Legrand may support certain third-party technologies (file formats, content providers) but reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to discontinue such support at any time, for any reason, with no attendant liability. Legrand makes no warranties regarding continuing support for third-party content or technologies.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the only warranty provided and is in lieu of all other express and implied warranties. The purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy for a covered defect is repair or replacement as described above. Legrand is not liable for incidental, indirect, direct, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the product — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

If Legrand or its Authorized Dealer determines the problem is not due to a covered defect, Legrand will contact the purchaser regarding disposition or repair, with any repair subject to charge. Legrand's determination as to the cause of the problem is final and binding.
