    Brochure and order form for the Monnit Wireless Sensor product line — low-cost, reliable wireless sensors for a wide range of monitoring applications, plus the wireless gateways that connect them to the iMonnit online portal.

    The Monnit Wireless Sensor Network

    Monnit Wireless Sensors detect the incidents you wish to monitor. MonnitLink™ Wireless Gateways transmit data between your local sensor network and the iMonnit™ online wireless sensor monitoring software or service. The iMonnit™ online portal allows for user customization of your sensor network and can notify/alert you of sensor events (a standalone PC software version is also available).

    Data flow: Wireless sensors → MonnitLink Gateway (USB to your PC, Ethernet, or Cellular) → iMonnit Online Wireless Sensors Portal (online monitoring & notification system) → alerts delivered via SMS, Email, or Phone.

    Temperature Sensor Highly accurate to ±1°C (±1.8°F)
    Temperature Sensor (3 ft Probe) Highly accurate to ±1°C (±1.8°F) with 3 ft long probed thermistor
    High Temp (RTD) Sensor (3 ft) Measures temperature from -50°C to +475°C
    Low Temp (RTD) Sensor (3 ft) Measures temperature from -200°C to +475°C
    Water Sensor Detects water presence on floors, in ceilings, holes, etc.
    Humidity (RH) Sensor Senses relative humidity ±2% from 50-85% RH
    HA Humidity (RH) Sensor Senses relative humidity ±1.8% from 10-90% RH
    Grains Per Pound Sensor Measures the weight of water in air
    Active RF ID Sensor Detects presence of an asset or object via RF transmission
    0-20 mA Sensor Interface Wireless interface for 0-20mA sensors
    Analog Sensor Interface Wireless interface for analog sensors
    120 VAC Detection Sensor Interfaces with devices up to 120 VAC to detect on/off state

    Accelerometer 3 profiles: Tilt (g-force per axis), Motion Over Time (10-sec sample, max/avg per axis), G-Force Impact (activates at set threshold)
    Vehicle Presence Sensor 3 profiles: presence/absence of parked vehicle, vehicles in motion passing by, speed of passing vehicles
    Digital Compass Sensor 3-axis digital compass returns orientation to magnetic north
    Pressure Sensor Measures pressure of gas, liquid, or vapor in a line/tank from 0-160 PSI
    Button Sensor Manually triggered push button with LED response indicator
    Lux Sensor Measures amount of light present (AA version only)
    Flex Sensor Measures amount of bend/flex in the sensor ribbon
    Motion Sensor Detects motion/movement using infrared technology
    Liquid Level Sensor Detects liquid level by its position on the ribbon sensor

    Sensor Housing Sizes

    • Commercial sensors: 1 replaceable coin cell battery; 0.78" (H) x 1" (D) x 1.8" (W)
    • AA sensors: 2 replaceable AA batteries; 1.2" (H) x 2.1" (D) x 3" (W)
    • Industrial sensors: 1 replaceable 3.0V AA battery; 1.4" (H) x 2.3" (D) x 3.7" (W). NEMA 4x certified and weatherproof.

    Software

    Monnit Wireless Sensors require a MonnitLink™ Wireless Gateway to communicate with the iMonnit™ Online Wireless Sensor Portal, Monnit Express™ software, or Monnit Enterprise Server Software. All Monnit Wireless Sensor products come with free iMonnit™ Online Wireless Sensor Monitoring. For advanced features and faster sensor reading intervals, iMonnit Premiere can be purchased for a low annual fee. Enterprise and Standalone PC Software is also available.
