    Quick start guide for the Lorex LW2700 Series Ultra Digital Wireless Quad LCD Video Surveillance System — a wireless camera and 7" LCD monitor/receiver kit, expandable up to 4 cameras.

    Camera Setup

    1. Mount the camera stand to the wall.
    2. Attach the included antenna to the camera by screwing it onto the back.
    3. Secure the camera to the mounting stand and adjust the angle until the desired view is set; tighten the thumbscrews to lock the position.
    4. Connect one end of the camera power adapter to the camera and the other end to an electrical outlet.

    Note: Avoid installing where the wireless signal must pass through cement, concrete, or metal structures — this reduces transmission range. Before permanent installation, verify camera performance on a monitor at the intended location. Wireless cameras require a constant power source. When pairing cameras not included in the original box, refer to the Camera Pairing section of the full User Manual.

    LCD Receiver Setup

    1. Insert the included SD card into the SD card slot on the LCD receiver until it clicks (it will not sit flush when fully inserted). Compatible with most major-brand SD cards up to 16 GB.
    2. Connect one end of the receiver power adapter to the receiver and the other end to an electrical outlet.
    3. Slide the power switch on the rear panel to "ON."
    4. Adjust the receiver's antenna as necessary for the clearest reception.

    Attention: Connect and power on the camera before powering on the receiver to ensure a proper connection.

    Receiver Mounting Options

    • Wall Mounting: screw the included screw and drywall plug into the mounting surface, then hang the receiver's wall-hanging notch over the screw.
    • Under-the-Counter / Ceiling Mounting: install the included mounting bracket under the counter or on the ceiling with the provided screws and drywall plugs, then screw the LCD receiver clockwise onto the end of the bracket. See the full user's manual for detailed steps.
    • Desk Mounting: plug the included stand into the slot and turn it counter-clockwise until it clicks into place; rotate further to adjust the viewing angle.

    Note: Keep the power cable in mind when mounting — you can drill an additional hole in the mounting surface to help conceal it.

    Product Overview — Receiver Controls

    1. Wireless Antenna — position as needed for best reception.
    2. Power — slide button to turn the LCD receiver ON/OFF.
    3. MENU — press to open the Main Menu.
    4. Channels/Navigation (Quad Mode only) — press 1–4 to view a specific camera; press OK to confirm menu selections.
    5. TALK — press to talk via the intercom; release to listen.
    6. DC 5V — connect the included power adapter.
    7. Wall Hanger — wall mounting notch.
    8. Mounting Hole — under-counter/ceiling mount bracket attachment point.
    9. SD Card Slot — accepts up to a 16 GB SD card.
    10. AV OUT — connect an audio/video cable to view on an external TV or monitor.
    11. Support Stand — positions the LCD receiver like a picture frame.

    Using the Intercom

    Two-way communication between the LCD receiver and camera lets you talk to a visitor from behind closed doors for added security. Make sure the camera is properly connected before using the intercom (see the full User Manual, "Using the Intercom" section).

    Recording Modes

    The system records to an SD card one channel at a time — always format the SD card before initial recording (see the full manual's "Format" section). Recording overrides other receiver actions; you must stop recording to access the Main Menu, Quad Mode, etc.

    Mode Description How to Operate
    Manual Recording Continuous recording from one camera. Cannot record in Quad Mode or Auto Sequence Viewing Mode. Press the RECORD—M button on the remote to start/stop.
    Schedule Recording Continuous recording from one camera or Auto Sequence Viewing Mode (records one camera at a time). Cannot record in Quad Mode. Turn off Manual and Motion Recording first. Enter a Start/Stop time via Main Menu > Record > Schedule Record.
    Motion Recording (Auto) Records only when motion is detected. Compatible with Quad Mode (enable Quad Mode before turning on Motion Recording) and Auto Sequence Viewing Mode. Press the Motion button to start/stop.
    Screen Saver + Motion Recording Enables a picture-frame screen saver on the LCD receiver; records only when motion is detected. Press the Motion button to start recording, then the Scan/Del button to enable Screen Saver mode.

    Expansion & Signal Range

    The LW2700 Series is expandable up to 4 cameras (visit lorexcctv.com to order additional cameras). Even with a clear line of sight, distance between the camera(s) and receiver can lower frame rate — accessory antennas are available to extend wireless range.
