Installation and quick start guide for the Leviton LevNet RF Receptacle (Tamper-Resistant) — Cat. Nos. WSG15-0DZ (Top Controlled) and WSG15-TDZ (Dual Controlled, Title 24). Ratings: 125VAC, 60Hz, 15A. Switched: 15A General Use/Resistive, 1800W Incandescent, 1800VA Inductive, 1/2HP, 120VAC.
The LevNet RF Receptacle (WSG15) uses wireless communication to provide remote control of your lighting. The device controls lighting or equipment attached to the receptacle by receiving a wireless signal (315MHz) from other EnOcean-enabled wireless devices. Devices can be learned directly into the unit via the Programming Mode Selection Menu, or wirelessly via the Leviton ComWi software and WSCOM-03W.
The WSG15 receptacle has a 50–100 ft. reception range depending on the environment and transmission device; range is reduced by signals having to transmit through walls. Some motorized devices, such as a power drill, can significantly reduce the effective range of the WSG15. Transmit range for WSG15, when used as a repeater or for initial setup/commissioning, is between 20–50 ft.
Most EnOcean Alliance-enabled devices conforming to the EnOcean Equipment Profile (EEP) are compatible with the WSG15 receptacle. This includes room controllers, occupancy sensors, key cards, unpowered switches, and door/window sensors made by Leviton as well as other EnOcean Alliance companies supporting EEP 2.1 and above.
Warning: to avoid fire, shock, or death, turn off power at circuit breaker or fuse and test that power is off before wiring.
Identify the most common single-pole wiring application: 1. Line (Hot), 2. Neutral, 3. Ground. If the wiring in your wall box does not resemble this configuration, consult an electrician.
This receptacle can be wired using side wire terminal screws or through backwire openings.
Your receptacle includes five color options and ships with the white frame attached. Push in the side at the tab to release, line up tabs, and press in sides one at a time to attach the new color frame.

All devices are learned in a "reduced sensitivity" mode to avoid interference from other devices that may be active nearby. This reduces the range, so devices being learned to the WSG15 receptacle should be within 10 ft during learning.
When used with an occupancy sensor, the WSG15 has six time-out settings: 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes (a longer timeout is recommended for self-powered devices in dark spaces). Default is 20 minutes; can only be changed using the ComWi software with the WSCOM tool.
The walk-through feature is active only in Auto-On/Auto-Off mode with time delay > 2 minutes — useful when a room is momentarily occupied. When a person enters, lights turn ON; if they leave before the 2.5-minute walk-through timeout, the sensor turns lights OFF within 2.5 minutes of no occupancy detected. If the room is occupied longer than 2.5 minutes, the sensor enters Occupied Mode with the configured time-out duration.
Enter Programming Mode by pressing and holding the Programming Button for 15 seconds until the LED begins flashing Amber slowly (1x/sec) — this is the Mode Selection Menu. Press the Programming Button to advance between the five modes; each mode is represented by a distinct Amber blink rate.

Note: If a new occupancy sensor is learned, all learned occupancy sensors for that unit default to the newly learned occupancy state.
Follow the same general steps as Rocker Mode, advancing the Programming Button from the Mode Selection Menu (Amber flashing) to the desired blink rate: 2x/sec for Momentary, 3x/sec for Toggle, 4x/sec for Scene. For Scene Mode, first toggle the load to the desired state (ON or OFF) before entering Programming Mode, then hold the button for 2 seconds to enter Learn Mode and press the wireless light switch to be learned.
Go back to the same mode the device was learned in (e.g., Rocker Switch = Rocker Mode), enter Learn Programming Mode, then press the button on the transmitter to be unlearned. The load will not toggle but the Green locator LED remains ON for 2 seconds. The device count in memory reduces by one.
The locator LED illuminates when the load is OFF, to facilitate access in the dark.

Leviton warrants to the original consumer purchaser that this product is free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use for five years from the purchase date. Leviton's only obligation is to correct such defects by repair or replacement, at its option, if returned prepaid with proof of purchase and a description of the problem. This warranty excludes labor for removal/reinstallation and is void if the product is installed improperly, overloaded, misused, opened, abused, or altered. There are no other implied warranties beyond the stated five-year term.
