Overview

The Decora Smart Wi-Fi family lets you schedule lights and connected loads to turn on/off at specific times or based on sunrise/sunset, group devices into rooms, and create scenes to activate multiple lights at once. It integrates with IFTTT for automation with other smart home platforms, supports an auto-shutoff countdown timer (useful in closets, hallways, bathrooms), and can randomize lighting while away for a lived-in appearance.

The Voice Dimmer (DWVAA) builds Amazon Alexa voice control directly into the dimmer paddle — no hub or smart speaker required — for hands-free dimming, news, weather, music, and more.

App Control

The free "My Leviton" app (iOS and Android) provides:

• Remote access from anywhere; easy device onboarding
• Custom schedules (e.g. "Good Morning" scenes at preset times, or "6:30AM weekdays: bedroom lights to 25%, master bath to 50%")
• Manually triggered Activities (e.g. "Movie Time" lighting scene)

Voice Control

• Amazon Alexa: "Alexa, dim living room lights to 25%"
• Google Assistant: "Ok Google, turn [device name] On" — works with Google Home and Google Assistant-enabled speakers

Design Notes

• Engineered for sensitive, low-wattage LED loads (e.g. LED bulbs in hallways, holiday lights) so LEDs do not glow when off
• Decora rocker-action paddle — press top to turn on, bottom to turn off
• 600W and 1000W dimmers have a dim/brighten bar along the right side of the paddle, with vanishing LEDs showing current and target light level in real time
• Color change kits available in white, ivory, light almond, gray, black, and brown for dimmers/switches; pairs with optional Leviton screwless wallplates for a clean install

Wiring Notes

Detailed single-pole and three-way wiring schematics for each model (DWVAA, DW1KD, DW6HD, DW15S, DW4SF, and the DD00R-DL / DD0SR-DL remote switches) are included in the downloadable PDF. In general: LINE and NEUTRAL connect to the device; LOAD connects to the fixture; for three-way/multi-location setups, a TRAVELER wire runs to the coordinating remote switch, and GROUND is required at all locations.
