    Warnings

    • Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse and test that power is off before wiring — to avoid fire, shock, or death.
    • Do not use the mounting screws supplied in the wallplate screw hole — mounting screws must only be used in the designated mounting screw holes.
    • Do not use with single-gang wall boxes.
    • For use with #4, #6, or #8 AWG copper wire only (a #10 AWG solid or stranded copper wire may be used for the ground connection). Do not use copper-clad or aluminum wire.
    • Installation must comply with applicable electrical codes; if unsure, consult a licensed electrician.

    Installation Instructions

    1. Strip wire exposing 11/16" (1.8 cm) of conductor. Stripping too short risks pinching insulation between the screw and terminal — cut off and re-strip if the conductor is damaged.
    2. Identify and insert wires into the appropriate terminals per the wiring diagram.
    3. Tighten terminal screws to 75 in-lbs torque, maintained for a minimum of 5 seconds. Repeat this torque check after all wires have been initially secured.
    4. Use a 2-gang wallplate (2.465" diameter opening) to complete the installation.
