    Installation instructions for the Legrand On-Q CM2001 Video Door Internet Enabling Kit, which provides local or remote IP network access to the video feed from a Legrand Selective Call Video Door Unit (SCI VDU).

    Overview

    The CM2001 mounts to a flat surface using keyhole slots on its rear, or into an On-Q style structured wiring enclosure using a Legrand AC1025 plate (sold separately). Once connected, users can point a PC or smart device browser at the CM2001's IP address to view the door camera image remotely.

    • Default "friendly name": CM2001-xxx, where xxx is the last three digits of the unit's MAC address (see the label on the rear of the unit).
    • Default IP address: 192.168.0.20. If DHCP is used instead, check your router's client list to find the assigned IP address.

    Connections & Indicators

    Two-wire Trigger Input Pin 1 12VDC, 50mA max (not used with SCI)
    Trigger Input Pin 2 Digital Signal Input (to SCI B+); an SCI VDU button push triggers an event such as an email, text message, or video recording (configure via the web-based User Guide).
    Trigger Input Pin 3 Ground (to SCI B-)
    Trigger Input Pin 4 Digital Signal Output (not used with SCI)
    Trigger Input Pin 5 RS485 data + (not used with SCI)
    Trigger Input Pin 6 RS485 data - (not used with SCI)
    RJ45 Jack PWR (orange LED) On = DC power is available
    RJ45 Jack LAN (green LED) Flashing = Ethernet data usage
    BNC Video In Analog camera input jack
    CM2001 Power Input 5VDC Use only the provided AC/DC adapter
    SD Card Slot Micro SD Used for image storage/recording
    Audio and Video Output A/V Out Use the supplied A/V cable (yellow for Video Out, white for Audio Out)
    Microphone Input Mic In Connection for an external microphone input
    Recessed Button Reset Use a paper clip to depress for 5 seconds to restore factory defaults
