Installation and operation manual for the Intrasonic V510 Smartphone Video Doorbell — a 4-wire IP AHD video door phone system with a 10" indoor touchscreen display. Supports up to 2 AHD (720P) outdoor doorbells, 2 IP/CCTV cameras, and 3 additional extension indoor monitors, with remote viewing via web browser or smartphone app.

Indoor Monitor Specifications

Installation Overview

Mount the indoor monitor at approximately 150–160 cm from the floor. Switch off the power supply before installing, and keep wiring more than 30cm away from AC power lines to avoid interference.

Wiring: Use a 4-conductor, non-STP wiring cable. Maximum cable run from the outdoor camera/doorbell to the furthest indoor monitor depends on gauge:

• 4 x 0.2mm² conductors: up to 28m
• 4 x 0.3mm² conductors: up to 50m
• 4 x 0.5mm² conductors: up to 80m

The system supports up to 2 AHD (720P) outdoor doorbells, 2 IP/CCTV cameras, and up to 3 additional extension indoor monitors, all daisy-chained via the corresponding DOOR1/DOOR2/CAM1/CAM2 interfaces. Each accessory (door station, camera) typically needs its own DC12V power supply unless a shared/separate power arrangement is used — see the wiring diagram in the full PDF for exact terminal connections (DC12V, AUDIO, GND, VIDEO/DATA per channel).

Indoor Monitor Front Panel Controls

Basic Operation

• Visitor call: Visitor presses the outdoor call button → ring tone sounds inside/outside for 10s → visitor's image auto-displays → press Talk to start a conversation (up to 120 sec) → press Unlock to release the door lock, or Hang Up to end.
• Monitoring: Press Monitoring to view the first outdoor camera; press again for the second camera; press Talk to start a conversation, or Monitoring again to return to standby (monitoring session lasts up to 60 sec).
• Call transfer: With 2+ indoor units, press Monitoring to access call transfer to another extension during an active call — the original unit returns to standby.
• Internal communication: With 2+ indoor units, press Talk from standby to intercom another indoor unit. Note: an incoming visitor call on either outdoor unit will interrupt/override internal communication mode.
• The indoor unit automatically returns to standby if not accessed within 60 seconds.
• If an SD card is installed, the unit automatically records video with audio whenever a visitor presses an outdoor call button.

System Setup Menu

Access system settings via the on-screen "Setup" menu (right-click with a connected USB mouse, or use the Hang Up button to bring up the toolbar). Settings are organized into nine sections:

• System — language, video standard (PAL/NTSC), door/camera input mode (HD for AHD 720P sources, D1 for CVBS sources)
• Door — per-door basic and ring settings
• Network — basic network config, port settings, advanced network options
• Record Scheduling — scheduled recording windows (manual recording takes priority if there's a conflict)
• Alarm — alarm/motion configuration
• Maintenance — SD card management, firmware upgrade
• User — user/password management
• Default — restore factory settings (note: port and language settings are not restored)
• Information — device ID, software version, release date

Remote Viewing via Web Browser

The system supports remote access over LAN or WAN via IP address or dynamic domain name, using Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome. Recommended for Windows XP/7/8 with IE 6–9, Firefox, or Chrome.

1. Set your PC's network adapter to a compatible IP address on the same subnet as the indoor monitor (e.g. if the monitor is 192.168.1.244, set the PC to 192.168.1.X where X isn't already in use, with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1).
2. Before connecting, adjust Internet Explorer's security settings (Tools → Internet Options → Security → Custom Level) to Enable ActiveX-related controls (automatic prompting, binary/script behaviors, signed/unsigned ActiveX controls, plug-ins). Disable firewall/antivirus temporarily during initial setup.
3. Open a browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.X (add :PORT if the HTTP port was changed from the default 80).
4. Allow the browser to download and install the required ActiveX control when prompted.
5. Log in with default credentials: User ID: Admin, Password: 888888 (use the same password configured on the indoor unit if changed). Select MAIN STREAM or SUB STREAM, and choose whether to auto-open all camera previews on login.

Once logged in, the web interface offers Live view, Playback, Remote Setting, Local Setting, and Logout. Live view supports single/quad/full-screen layouts, snapshot capture, manual recording (saved as AVI, default path c:\IVR\Record\), remote door unlock (password-protected), and brightness/contrast adjustment per channel.
