HAI (Home Automation, Inc.) Omni family accessories tech sheet, featuring the 10A17-1 Serial Interface plus the full lineup of consoles, expansion modules, sensors, and control accessories for OmniLT, Omni, Omni II, OmniPro, and OmniPro II controllers.

10A17-1 Serial Interface

Increases the number of serial ports on the Omni LT and Omni II from one to two, and on the OmniPro II from three to four. Like the built-in ports, the 10A17 lets Omni family controllers connect to personal computers and other serial devices for HAI Web-Link II, HAI PC Access, and Connectivity Partner systems using the HAI Omni-Link or HAI Pro-Link protocol. Supports both RS-232 and RS-485 connections.

Consoles & Touchscreens

• 32A00-1 OmniTouch™: "plug and play" color touchscreen (3.9" LCD, auto-adjusting backlight, turns off when idle) for graphical control of security, HVAC, and lighting via icons. Two-color status LED, selectable key click/beeper. Flush-mounts with white/beige/almond faceplates (3/8" slim profile). Connects via 4-wire console bus. Works with OmniLT, Omni II, OmniPro II.
• 33A00-1 Omni Console / 33A00-3 Flush Mount Kit: surface-mount console, slim design, flush-mountable with optional backbox. Compatible with OmniLT, Omni, Omni II, OmniPro, OmniPro II. Larger buttons, "cool blue" backlight, 48-character backlit LCD, menu operation, two-color status LED (red = armed, green = disarmed). All control/security/programming functions available from the console.

Expansion & Interface Modules

• 17A00-1 / 17A00-9 Expansion Enclosure: adds 16 inputs for security, fire, temperature, humidity, and automation, plus a battery-backed supervised power supply and 16 voltage outputs. Can mount up to 1000 ft from the OmniPro II controller. 17A00-1 ships in an OmniPro II enclosure; 17A00-9 mounts on a 20A07-2 Universal Mounting Plate for structured wiring enclosures. Optional 19A00-1 8-relay module mounts to either.
• 10A07 4-Relay / 19A00 8-Relay Modules: convert HAI voltage outputs to Form C relay contacts (5A @ 24VDC) for switching pumps, motors, commercial lighting, remote breakers, sprinklers. LED indicators show energized relays. 10A07 includes foam adhesive mounting tape; 19A00 has mounting holes.
• 10A06 16-Zone Hardwire Expander: adds 16 configurable input zones to Omni II / OmniPro II (not for OmniLT). Zones programmable for burglary, fire, temperature, or auxiliary inputs. Includes mounting hardware and cable.
• 22A00-1 OmniLT Expansion Module: adds 16 zones and 8 overload-protected voltage outputs to OmniLT. Zones support burglary, temperature, or auxiliary inputs; outputs have individual overload protection with indicator and reset button.
• 21A05-2 Serial Cable: connects the built-in serial port on OmniLT/Omni II/OmniPro II to a PC for Web-Link II, PC Access, or other Connectivity Partner equipment.
• 21A07-2 Mounting Plate (OmniLT): half-size plate for mounting OmniLT controllers in Leviton and "open house" enclosures.
• 20A07-2 Universal Mounting Plate (Omni II / Pro II): full-size plate for Omni II, OmniPro II, and the 17A00 Expansion Enclosure in Leviton, On-Q, Siemon, UStec, and "open house" enclosures.
• Dual X-10 Transmitter Kit: for larger homes needing stronger X-10 signal — doubles X-10 output when added alongside the controller's built-in transmitter. Includes an X-10 TW523 two-way powerline interface and connection parts.

Audio, Voice & Networking Accessories

• 10A11 Two-Way Audio/Voice Alarm Module: enables two-way voice communication between the premises and central station after an alarm, and announces alarms/voice messages inside via HAI's built-in voice. Connects to the controller board and 28A00 speaker/microphone modules. Supports listen/talk from any touch-tone phone (local or remote); can double as an internal paging/intercom system.
• 28A00-1 (surface) / 28A00-2 (flush) Speaker/Microphone Module: speaker+mic assembly for two-way communication with a central station, paging/listening from an on- or off-premises phone, voice annunciation of alarms/zones, and programmed voice messages (when paired with the 10A11/10A00). Rated for weather-protected outdoor use (overhangs, eaves).
• 1108 HAI Web-Link II®: Internet access/control of security, lights, appliances, HVAC, and other functions. Generates web pages from controller data, viewable locally or over LAN/Internet. Supports video surveillance viewing, on-demand or event-based recording, and wireless access via PDA or web-enabled phone.
• 1105W PC Access for Dealers / 1106W PC Access for End Users: Windows software for full setup, programming, and monitoring of Omni family controllers via RS-232, modem, or Ethernet (OmniPro II). Status pages for all system components; command section for remote control; event log viewing; program cut/copy/paste and search; stores complete controller configuration on the PC's hard drive for backup. 1106W has all 1105W capabilities except certain installer-only system items.

Lighting Control Accessories

• Advanced Lighting Control (ALC) Switches: architectural-quality lighting control with direct level control, scene controls, programmable fade rates, motion/activity-based lighting, schedules, and sunrise/sunset triggers. Includes 1000W dimmer switches and 4-Button Scene Switch Modules for executing controller macros.
• 25A00-1 1-Branch / 25A00-2 4-Branch ALC Interface: control lights/appliances connected to ALC Switch Modules on OmniLT, Omni II, or OmniPro II. Capacity: up to 16 ALC modules (1 branch) on OmniLT, 62 (2 branches) on Omni II, 248 (4 branches across 2 interface modules) on OmniPro II.

Sensors

• 31A00-1 Indoor/Outdoor Temp Sensor: beige indoor-décor case, moisture-resistant coated circuitry, calibration-free digital sensor. Connects to any unused zone. Used for attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, coolers. Temperature can display on console or be spoken over phone; can log/alert/alarm on freeze or high/low setpoints.
• 31A00-2 Indoor/Outdoor Temp & Humidity Sensor: adds an electronic humidity sensor (0–100% RH) to all 31A00-1 features. Configurable high/low limits can trigger actions (e.g. bathroom vent fan, AC dehumidification) or reports. Uses two zones (temperature + humidity).
• 14A00-8 Water Temp Sensor: stainless steel probe for monitoring water temperature in pipes or open water — pools, spas, ponds, greenhouses, solar collectors. Includes stainless mounting screws and waterproof connectors.
• 1101A PESM (Programmable Energy Saver Module): overrides existing thermostats for setback control; can also sense/control fans and temperatures (attic fans, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine coolers, humidors). Reports temperature to the controller; has a low-voltage relay and LED indicator; doubles as a freeze sensor that can trigger the controller to dial out on furnace failure.

Both Expansion Enclosure models include manuals, accessories, and wiring diagrams for the inside of the enclosure door, plus a discreet "HAI Automation Onboard®" label for the outside.
