HAI Model 72A00-1 Hardwired Load Control Module — Specifications

Specification sheet for the HAI Model 72A00-1 Hardwired Load Control Module, used to control the power consumption of high-wattage loads such as water heaters, pool pumps, baseboard heaters, ventilators, humidifiers/dehumidifiers, commercial 277 VAC lighting ballasts, vent fans, circulator pumps, sign lighting, and outdoor lighting.

Description

The Hardwired Load Control Module is operated by voltage outputs from an HAI controller or expansion enclosure, and includes a manual override switch (On / Off / Output Controlled). Optoisolated relays inside the 72A00-1 isolate noisy loads from the rest of the HAI system.

Installation Notes

• This device should be connected only by a qualified electrician.
• The module connects between the HAI controller's voltage output/ground and a relay controlling the load circuit, via an opto-isolator input.
• Supported wiring configurations (see full diagrams in the downloadable PDF):
  • 120 VAC load — connects to a standard 120/240 VAC circuit breaker panel.
  • 208/240 VAC load — connects to a 120/208 VAC three-phase or 120/240 VAC circuit breaker panel.
  • 277 VAC load — connects via a 277 VAC to 120 VAC transformer to a 277/480 VAC three-phase commercial circuit breaker panel.
