    Overview

    The Global Caché Flex Link RS485 Serial Cable connects RS485 serial devices to the iTach Flex, the first multi-functional smart endpoint that connects almost any electronic device to a WiFi or TCP/IP network for control and automation. The Flex connects anything IR, serial, or relay (with sensor input) to a network and supports HTTP for browser control from anywhere in the world. Global Caché devices are used in large-scale installations (hotels, stadiums, classrooms, corporate campuses) as well as residential projects (automated gates, fountains, entertainment systems, and more).

    With the Flex Link RS232 and RS485 Serial cables, both RS232 and RS485 serial devices can be simply connected to the network for seamless control. Setup is via the iTach Flex's integrated web server, or via HTTP/TCP software APIs — the same packet-based interface approach used across Global Caché products.
