Installation and remote-control guide for the Enbrighten Seasons Landscape Lights (JA4101x series), no-bulb-replacement LED landscape lighting with a full-featured remote.

    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation and remote-control guide for the Enbrighten Seasons Landscape Lights (JA4101x series, model numbers 41012 / 41015 / 41017 — RGBLL landscape lighting pucks). These no-bulb-replacement LED landscape lights install in minutes and are controlled by an included remote.

    Step 1 — Initial Setup

    1. Unpack the lights, removing all wire ties and the plastic bag (keep away from children — thin film can restrict breathing).
    2. Locate the remote control and install 2 AAA batteries (included).
    3. Plug the landscape lights into a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) receptacle before installing, to confirm every light works properly. GFCI protection is required — this is a wet-location product.
    4. Unplug the lights before beginning installation.

Step 2 — Installing the Lights

Each light puck has two universal keyholes for mounting on the included stakes (one per light) or directly on a flat surface.

    Ground Mounting

    • Plan the layout starting at the GFCI receptacle/controller. The first light can be placed up to 20 ft from the controller; each subsequent light up to 10 ft from the previous one.
    • Mount the controller using its rear keyholes or ear tabs — never lay it directly on the ground or where standing water can accumulate.
    • Two ground-mount options: place the puck directly on the ground/garden bed, or insert the included stake into either keyhole slot on the bottom of the puck (firmly seat both tabs), then push the stake into soil or mulch. Loosen soil or remove rocks if the stake won't insert with a firm push.
    • Cord management: the burial-grade cable can be directly buried in soil or covered with garden bedding. Don't pull the cord tight — leave slack in the loop near the controller to prevent strain.

    Flat-Surface Mounting

    • Mount only to a solid support structure (joist, beam, stud, etc.) using two #6 pan-head screws (not included) of appropriate length.
    • Use the mounting template (printed on the back of the original instruction sheet) for pilot-hole placement: soft wood 3/32", hard wood 9/64". Align template Line A parallel with the mounting surface edge, drill pilot holes at the marked X locations, screw in, then place the puck onto the keyholes and twist to lock.

    Using the Remote

    • Power: Press the red ON/OFF button at the top of the remote. Keep the remote indoors when not in use — it is not waterproof.
    • Single-Color Selection: Press a color on the color pad to set all lights to that color. Press the dimming button within this mode to choose from 10 light levels (dimming is available only in single- and dual-color selection).
    • Dual-Color Selection: Press Color 1 then a color pad button to set every other light starting with the first light; press Color 2 then a color to set the alternating lights starting with the second. Press dimming to pick a level.
    • Tunable White: Press the white button to cycle through 2200K, 2700K, and 5000K white tones.
    • Strobe: Cycles the lights randomly through all colors.
    • Fade: Slowly transitions the lights through all colors in a random pattern.
    • Modes: Press repeatedly to cycle through preset modes — Twinkle, Multi-Fade, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, Red/White/Blue, Fall, Spring, Multi-Colors.
    • Timer: 2-hour or 4-hour countdown buttons turn the lights off automatically.
    • Lights remember the last customized setting and power on the same way next time.

Pairing the Remote with Additional Lights

The remote can be paired with additional sets of Enbrighten Seasons Landscape Lights, or with pairable Enbrighten Café Lighting, for fully customizable coordinated control.

    • To pair: Power on the lights, then within 8 seconds press and hold the ON/OFF button. Lights turn white, blink once, and stay white — pairing confirmed. Multiple strings can be paired simultaneously by powering them all on together, then holding ON/OFF within 8 seconds.
    • A set of lights can be paired with up to 8 remotes.
    • To unpair: Power on the lights, then within 8 seconds press and hold the yellow button (bottom-left corner of remote). Lights turn white, blink twice, and stay white — unpaired. Multiple lights can be unpaired from one remote the same way, simultaneously.

    Safety Warnings

    • Risk of Electric Shock: Receptacles used for powering landscape lights must comply with all national and local electrical codes — consult a local electrician if unsure. For use only on GFCI-protected circuits. Do not submerse. Do not use around aquariums. This is a wet-location product with no user-serviceable parts. Do not use with an extension cord, near water, or where water may accumulate. Keep lamps at least 16 feet from pools and spas. Keep plugs and receptacles dry. Avoid damaging cords/lamp assemblies during installation; periodically inspect for damage from outdoor exposure.
    • Risk of Fire: Lights are designed to mount via their individual keyhole feature only — never mount using the main electrical cord or individual drop cords. Not intended for installation in ceilings, soffits, cabinets, attics, or other enclosed spaces.
    • Replace any damaged landscape lights. Do not install where lights can be stepped on. Ensure lights are unplugged during installation. Keep children from playing with the lights. UL recommends testing GFCI circuits/receptacles monthly.
