    August 31, 2026 3 min read

User manual for the Ecolink WST-102 four-button 345 MHz wireless remote control.

    Full text manual (for reference)

Full installation guide and user manual for the Ecolink WST-102 Four Button Wireless Remote, covering enrollment, button operation, programmable options, and battery replacement.

    Specifications

    • Frequency: 345 MHz
    • Battery: One 3Vdc lithium coin cell CR2032 (225 mAh)
    • Battery life: 5 years
    • Operating temperature: 32°-120°F (0°-49°C)
    • Operating humidity: 5-95% RH, non-condensing
    • Compatibility: Honeywell receivers (standard mode)

    Enrolling

Each remote has a unique serial number printed on the back, and each button has a unique loop number. Assign each button to an individual zone and configure it as a BR (button type) input. Once prompted for the serial number, press and release the desired button twice to assign that button to the zone. Refer to your specific alarm control panel or receiver instructions for details.

    Button Operation

    • Away Arming (Loop 3): Arms the system when no one will be home — all sensors go into armed mode.
    • Disarm (Loop 2): Disarms the system. No access code is required when using this key.
    • Stay Arming (Loop 4): Arms the system while occupants remain home — doors/windows armed, but motion detectors stay in standby.
    • Aux (Loop 1): Activates the auxiliary function assigned to this button (refer to your specific panel's instructions for available options).

Note: On 2GIG panels, pressing both the Away Arming and Disarm keys simultaneously activates the panic function, if enabled in the control panel.

Assigning Users to Remotes (Vista Panels)

When a zone is configured to arm or disarm the system with a wireless remote, that zone must be assigned to a user code in the control panel for it to operate. Refer to the User Code programming section of your specific control panel for details.

Programmable Options (Not Evaluated by ETL)

To enter program mode, press and hold the Away Arming and Aux buttons until the LED turns on; the LED flashes while in programming mode.

    • Press the Away key to toggle between no delay or a 1-second delay on all buttons.
    • Press the Disarm key to toggle between the normal delay set above, or a 3-second delay only on the AUX button.
    • Press the AUX button to toggle between a regular transmission for the AUX button (loop 1), or a simulated double-button-press (Away Arming + Disarm) panic function for 2GIG panels — effectively a one-button panic feature. Do not program this feature if using with a Honeywell control panel.

    Replacing the Battery

When the battery is low, a signal is sent to the control panel, or the LED will appear dim or not turn on at all when a button is pressed.

    1. With a key or small screwdriver, push up on the black tab located at the bottom of the remote and slide the chrome trim off.
    2. Carefully separate the front and back plastic pieces to reveal the battery.
    3. Replace with a CR2032 battery, ensuring the + side faces up.
    4. Re-assemble the plastics and ensure they click together.
    5. Ensure the notch in the chrome trim is aligned with the back of the plastic — it will only go on one way.
