    User guide for the Danalock Danapad V3, a wireless PIN-code keypad accessory that pairs with a Danalock smart lock or Universal Module to allow locking and unlocking a door using entered pin codes.

    Overview

    The Danapad is a battery-powered accessory keypad (4x AAA batteries) that pairs with a Danalock lock or Universal Module via the Danalock App. Once paired and set up with one or more PIN codes, it can be used to lock or unlock the door by keying in a code.

    Setup

    Add the Danapad in the Danalock App

    1. Open the Danalock App and select "Add device" in the menu tab to enroll the Danapad.
    2. Once enrolled, pair it with your Danalock: go to Menu > Accessory devices > Danapad > Pairing and select the lock you want to control with the Danapad.

    Set Up PIN Codes

    Go to Menu > Accessory devices > Danapad > Pin codes and choose to add a new PIN code. PIN codes must be between 4 and 10 digits.

    Using the Danapad

    The Danapad is ready to use once it is paired with a Danalock or Universal Module and has at least one PIN code set up.

    • Locking: Enter the PIN code followed by the lock button. A single green blink confirms success.
    • Unlocking: Enter the PIN code followed by the unlock button. A single green blink confirms success.

    Dismounting

    The Danapad can be removed from its wall mount for battery replacement or relocation; see the original PDF for the mounting bracket release mechanism diagram.

    Firmware Upgrade

    In the Danalock App, navigate to your Danapad settings and select Firmware > Upgrade firmware. Keep your phone near the Danapad for the entire firmware upgrade process.
