Complete manual for the Channel Vision ARIA A0362 100W Amplifier with Bluetooth Audio Streaming.
Complete manual for the Channel Vision ARIA A0362 100W Amplifier with Bluetooth Audio Streaming.
Channel Vision's ARIA Audio Streaming Receiver is equipped with a Bluetooth 4.2 module for extended streaming distance and a more reliable connection, plus enhanced acoustic features including 3D surround sound and bass boost. The A0362 also features a "deep sleep" power-saving mode, customized zone naming, security code settings, and a property management mobile app reset control.
The A0362 provides a local wireless connection for streaming audio from smartphones, tablets, and computers over Bluetooth to ARIA Audio-equipped systems. Once paired via the ARIA Audio Android or iOS app, it streams selected music (iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, etc.) from your device. The connection stays active until disconnected or the source device goes out of range; ARIA enters power-saving deep sleep after a period of inactivity and automatically reconnects and resumes playback when back in range. Multiple installed units let the audio follow the user around a home or business, or be configured for simultaneous multi-room playback.
To pair: open your mobile device's Bluetooth settings, select the device named "ARIA." The LED on the front of the receiver turns from red to green once connected. For systems with multiple A0362 units, rename each one to easily identify the room for an optimal user experience.
Up to 147 ft. in ideal line-of-sight conditions. Range can be significantly reduced by interference from other communication devices, electrical wiring, and room construction materials (brick walls, concrete floors). Near maximum range, the signal may intermittently drop in and out as signal strength varies.
Output level from streaming sources varies by brand. Although the A0362 is calibrated to match most devices, levels may differ in some cases — use your source device's own volume control to match the main audio source's level.
Each A0362's default name is "Aria." Rename it (up to 9 characters) to something like "Bedroom1," "Study," or "Patio" via the app.
Download Channel Vision's ARIA Audio app before first pairing. The app includes a security code option; the default is 0000 and can be changed once connected. Room naming and the security pairing code can be changed at any time via the app, before or after installation. Authorized dealers have additional security and property management setup options.
Alternatively, pair via the app:
Android users are now paired. iOS users: after step 9, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and select "Aria" to complete the connection.
The A0362 is now discoverable — connect a second device using the same steps as the first.
Once connected, open any music app to play. The Music Manager feature offers audio enhancements including 3D surround sound, bass boost, and an equalizer:
Warning: do not turn the volume all the way up if no audio is currently playing — doing so could damage your speakers if audio suddenly reconnects.
| Symptom | Troubleshooting Steps |
|---|---|
| Not linking with Bluetooth Receiver (front LED is red) | Bluetooth source isn't connected — turn on Bluetooth on your phone, make it visible, and select the "ARIA" device to pair. |
| Linked but no audio present |

Connect speakers to the A0362's 100W speaker-out connector for a rich, custom-installed audio experience. Power connects to the back of the unit via a 2-pin connector (24VDC input). The unit also provides an audio output to an amplifier (or IR input from an optional A0129 keypad) and an Ext./IR jumper setting (Ext. = extend to another amp; IR = A0129 keypad setting).
Using a zone output from an ARIA Audio distribution hub (e.g., the P-2014 module), plug a CAT5 cable into the RJ-45 input of each A0362 and connect speakers to its 100W output — repeat for each zone to provide local audio in every room.
Using a CAT5 cable, connect the RJ-45 output of the A0362 into the CAT5 audio input on the P-2014 Audio hub.
Tested and found to comply with Part 15 Class B of the FCC Rules, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. If interference occurs, try reorienting/relocating the antenna, increasing separation from the receiver, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a technician. Unauthorized changes/modifications could void your authority to operate the equipment.
