Output File Formats

First-Time Setup

1. Install batteries and SD card: Open the battery door, insert 4 AA batteries, close the door. Open the SD card cover, insert the SD card until it clicks, close the cover.
2. Turn on the camera: Rotate the power switch to ON. The camera will process briefly, then display the Set Up screen showing date/time and time interval settings.
3. Set date and time: Press MENU, then TIME to select "Set Date & Time," press OK. At the highlighted field, MENU decreases the value and TIME increases it; press OK to confirm and advance to the next field.
4. Set the time interval: Press TIME to enter interval setup. Use MENU/TIME to select a preset interval (from 1 second up to 24 hours) or a custom one, then press OK to confirm.

Recording

Start: From the Preview screen, press OK to begin recording. During recording, the LCD panel turns off automatically to save power.

Stop: While recording, hold OK until the LCD lights up and shows "Done!" on the Preview screen — this confirms the session has ended. Remove the SD card and plug it into a computer to view your time-lapse video.

LED Indicator

• Green LED (flashing): Camera is actively capturing photos.
• Red LED: Low battery level or low recording space on the SD card.

Advanced Menu Settings

Reset to Defaults: MENU → Reset → YES restores: AVI Frame Rate 10 FPS, Image Quality Better, Time Stamp ON, Low Light Recording ON, Output Resolution 1280×720, LED Display ON, Band Filter None, Time Interval 2 Seconds.

Power Saving Behavior

On the Set Up screen, after 10 seconds without activity the camera automatically advances to the Preview screen (press MENU or TIME to go back). On the Preview screen, after 20 seconds without activity the LCD screen turns off to save power — press OK to wake the camera up.
