    Full text manual (for reference)

    Overview

Arlington's heavy-duty Grounding Bridge (GB5, GBB5, GBB50, and PVC-conduit versions GB5P/GBB5P/GBB50P) provides reliable intersystem bonding between power and communication grounding systems, meeting 2008 NEC ground requirements (250.94). Each unit has four termination points — one more than the NEC requires — with capacity to handle multiple communications hookups: telephone, CATV, or satellite dish.

    Installation — GB5P, GBB5P, GBB50P (PVC Conduit Adapter Versions)

    1. Mount the conduit adapter plate in the desired location (screws not provided), leaving the hole in the lower left open for #2. Install PVC conduit in the adapter with PVC glue (not supplied). Install the grounding electrode conductor in the conduit.
    2. Install the Grounding Bridge onto the grounding electrode/equipment grounding conductor using the lay-in lug; tighten the screw. Using two screws (not provided), attach the Grounding Bridge to the structure through the holes in the adapter plate.
