Product overview for the RemoteLock 7i Wi-Fi Smart Lock — a heavy-duty keypad lock built for short-term rental and hospitality access management.
Product overview for the RemoteLock 7i Wi-Fi Smart Lock — a heavy-duty electronic keypad lock built for accommodation rentals, hospitality, and high-traffic commercial applications.
The RemoteLock 7i is a robust Wi-Fi-enabled lock designed for the rental and business market, connecting directly to your existing router — no separate hub required. Manage access to 1 or 100+ properties from the cloud-based smartCONNECT portal: quickly set up time-limited codes for each booking, eliminate key exchanges, and give guests keyless access. Integrates with popular booking platforms including Airbnb, HomeAway, and Beds24.com. The lock body is manufactured by CodeLocks, with RemoteLock Wi-Fi technology embedded directly into it.
An access code is created in the smartCONNECT portal and sent to the lock via Wi-Fi. The guest automatically receives an email with the code (customizable message). To unlock, the guest enters the code followed by the hash key. When the door closes, the AUTOLOCK function ensures it's locked from the outside. The 7i is a "panic" lock — you can always exit the building without needing to unlock the door.
Requires an annual subscription.
Code creation can be fully automated through an API integration — when a guest books, a code is automatically generated and emailed with no manual input required. Existing integrations include Airbnb, HomeAway, Samsung Artik, Gideon.ai, with more in development.

Many buildings have a common door with a standalone buzzer entry system, which normally makes it hard to give guests access through it. The RemoteLock ACS from LockState solves this — a hard-wired, internet-connected door entry system that syncs with the RemoteLock Wi-Fi lock range. When a unique code is created for an apartment door with a Wi-Fi lock, the same code automatically works on the front common door too.
