User guide for the Aeotec TriSensor 8 (ZWA045) Z-Wave Plus multi-sensor β motion, light, and temperature detection with Gen8 technology.
User guide for the Aeotec TriSensor 8 (ZWA045) β a Z-Wave Plus multi-sensor that detects motion, ambient light, and temperature, powered by Aeotec's Gen8 technology.
The Aeotec TriSensor 8 was developed to detect ambient values and movement and transmit them via Z-Wave Plus. It is battery-powered (CR123A only, non-rechargeable) and pairs with any Z-Wave gateway. Check Aeotec's Z-Wave gateway comparison listing to confirm compatibility with your specific hub.

Not fully advised unless your gateway has failed β this will factory reset the TriSensor 8 even if currently paired.
The TriSensor 8 typically wakes automatically via the Wakeup command class, with a default interval of once every 43,200 seconds (12 hours). To manually wake it for configuration:
Further advanced parameter settings (Configuration Command Class) and group association settings (Association Command Class) are documented in Aeotec's separate engineering sheet, available as a download from Aeotec's support site, and are not covered in this guide.
