    Engineering specifications for the Aeotec MultiSensor 7 (ZWA024) — a Z-Wave Plus battery/USB powered sensor combining motion, temperature, humidity, illuminance (lux), UV, and vibration detection with Security S0/S2 support.

    Association Groups

    Supports 11 association groups, up to 5 nodes per group. Group 1 (Lifeline) reports device reset, notifications, sensor readings, battery, and indicator changes to the primary controller.

    • Group 2 — Motion: Basic Set on motion trigger/untrigger (behavior configurable via Param 11–13)
    • Groups 3/4 — OverHeat / UnderHeat: Basic Set when temperature crosses thresholds (Param 16/17)
    • Groups 5/6 — OverHumidity / UnderHumidity: Basic Set on humidity thresholds (Param 14/15)
    • Groups 7/8 — OverLight / UnderLight: Basic Set on lux thresholds (Param 18/19)
    • Groups 9/10 — OverUV / UnderUV: Basic Set on UV thresholds (Param 20/21)
    • Group 11 — Temperature: General temperature sensor reporting

    Wakeup Interval

    • Minimum: 1,800 seconds (30 minutes)
    • Maximum: 86,400 seconds (24 hours)
    • Default: 28,800 seconds (8 hours) — a longer interval extends battery life
    • Step increment: 60 seconds
    • If the gateway shows the sensor offline, press and hold the action button 3 seconds to force a wake-up notification
