Upgrade your commercial exit door with the Yale nexTouch Z-Wave Plus v2 Pushbutton Keypad Exit Trim, Augusta Lever, Z-Wave 700. This electronic keypad door lock and deadbolt combination offers greater security, convenience, and accessibility to your building through 3 entry methods: inputting a 4-8 digit code into the keypad, using a traditional turnkey, or remotely accessing the lock via a Z-Wave controller or smartphone app. The lock's retrofit design and adjustable mounting posts allow it to be easily installed onto most types of existing doors, including detached deadbolt keypads and latches. A built-in 9V backup battery ensures the lock remains powered and usable in the event of power failure. This nexTouch Exit Trim model includes a Z-Wave 700 radio module to allow the lock to be included in a wireless Z-Wave automation or security system for additional automation and security functions such as arming and disarming security systems, sharing passcodes with others, and remote monitoring of the lock's status and usage history.

As a part of the nexTouch series, this Yale lock comes with several security features including modular security attachments, privacy and free passage modes, and an included Z-Wave 700 Module for integration with your Z-Wave automation and security system.

Installation Details

The nexTouch smart lock installs on standard interior or exterior doors measuring 1-3/4". All the necessary hardware (lock, screws, etc.) are included, along with a template for door preparation and detailed instructions. The lock is suitable for left- or right-handed operation.

The sectional lock is powered by four (4) AA batteries, which are included and should last for about one year. The lock also supports an optional 9VDC backup power supply with a plug-in wall transformer (sold separately). The Z-Wave Network Module easily snaps in above the batteries. An alert is triggered when the battery is low, wrong codes are entered, or the lock is tampered with.

Programming is completed at the lock via the push button keypad or through your Z-Wave system controller. The Z-Wave smart lock provides voice-assisted programming with adjustable volume to guide you through the setup process. Voice assistance is available in English, Spanish, and French.
