Prevent leaks or flooding from damaging your home and belongings by adding an early and automatic flood prevention system with the WaterCop Wireless Flood Sensor, 1 Probe. This 418 MHz wireless water detecting sensor is a component of the WaterCop System, an automatic water shut-off system that protects your home and belongings from water damage caused by leaks or ruptures from your plumbing system by shutting off your main water line when water is detected in a selected area. This sensor includes a built-in 418 MHz transmitter and one sensor probe with twin gold prongs at the end of a 6-foot wire. When the Wireless Flood Sensor detects water through its attached probe, it wirelessly alerts a nearby WaterCop Actuator Motor within 200 ft to seal the main water line. The WaterCop valve will remain closed until it is manually reset. An unlimited number of Wireless Flood Sensors can be paired with a single WaterCop Actuator Motor, allowing you to detect leaks virtually anywhere and everywhere in your home.

About the WaterCop System
The WaterCop System provides your home with round-the-clock indoor leak and flood detection and protection. The system consists of wired and wireless flood sensors, On/Off control switches, and a main control device consisting of an actuator motor and ball valve mounted on your main water line that all work together to detect leaks from your plumbing system or excessive water in selected areas and automatically shut off the water supply to help reduce and/or minimize the chances of major water damage. A WaterCop automatic water shut-off valve system is compatible with most home security and home automation systems via ethernet connection.
WaterCop System Components
A complete WaterCop System is composed of three essential parts:
- A WaterCop Electric Actuator Motor that receives wireless signals from paired flood sensors to automatically seal the main water line
- A ball valve that mounts onto your main water line and connects to the WaterCop Motor to seal your water supply
- Wireless or wired flood sensors which detect water and transmit alert signals to the WaterCop to turn off your water supply

Installation Details
The WaterCop Wireless Flood Sensor installs onto a wall or flat surface with adhesive tape (sold separately) and its attached probe should be placed flat onto the floor to detect water as it pools. Flood Sensors should be placed two to three feet off the floor and are not waterproof. Wireless Flood Sensors are powered by two AA batteries or alternatively with an optional AC power adapter (DQWPA, sold separately).
