Pet Immunity & Built-In Temperature Sensor
The Napco Microprocessor PIR Sensor detects movement in your home without limiting the freedom of your pets. The sensor features pet immunity for small animals up to 65 pounds, and a detection range up to 45 feet. The sensor also includes a built-in room temperature alert that notifies you when the surrounding environment goes above or below preset temperature points. This helps you prevent heat and/or freeze damages to your property.

Auto-Adjusting Temperature Sensor
Automatic temperature compensation technology works in conjunction with the built-in temperature sensor to automatically adjust for seasonal and climate variances, providing accurate detection for any environment. The low-temp alert is set at 40 degrees F (4 degrees C), and can be used to help prevent pipes from bursting or freezing. The high-temp alert is set at 90 degrees F (32 degrees C) to prevent a freezer from defrosting/thawing or perishables from being damaged by extreme heat.
Advanced Detection Capabilities
The PIR Sensor offers customizable motion detection range and features a calibrated adjustable potentiometer that lets you fine-tune range during a walk-test. Additionally, the sensor’s advanced microprocessor provides exceptional false alarm rejection with its embedded library of valid and false alarm signal signatures. This library enables the PIR to differentiate between intruders and animals or other typical false alarm sources.
Versatile Mounting Options
The detector is designed for convenient installation on a wall or in a corner, and can be precisely aimed horizontally or vertically by repositioning the PCB within the enclosure for a full range of coverage. The sensor also has a large wiring channel, a generous terminal strip, and a captive PCB screw for quick, easy, and professional installation.
The PIR Sensor is housed in an insect-safeguarded enclosure. The sealed sensor chamber prevents insects, draft and dust interference, ensuring reliable detector performance. The sensor also incorporates tamper/vandalism supervision to defend against sabotage or vandalize. If opening of the enclosure is attempted, the sensor alerts you. Additionally, the sensor is protected from interference due to static discharge, power surges, electric spikes, etc.
