This Z-Wave 700 compatible switch replaces a standard On/Off switch to add remote and automated On/Off control for a wired load. When the switch is included into a Z-Wave network, it provides wireless control of the switch from your mobile device via a Z-Wave hub's mobile app and enables you to include the switch and its controlled load into automated scenes or schedules for effortless management of your home. Unlike most other smart switches that use LEDs to quickly communicate a device's status, this toggle switch features an LED within the toggle itself which can report the statuses of the switch, its connected load, or your smart home network using 8 color options. Additionally, the toggle switch can be used as a single-pole installation or configured to work in multi-way applications with up to 4 Enbrighten Add-On Switches.

The Enbrighten Smart Toggle Switch is designed with QuickFit and SimpleWire features:

QuickFit: Provides a housing that's smaller by 20% with no break-off tabs to remove, which is ideal for older-style switch boxes, multi-gang configurations, or any other application with limited space.

SimpleWire: Auto-detects line/load terminals, making installation easier and quicker by detecting line and load wires and configuring the dimmer accordingly. It also features an offset dual ground terminal to avoid switch box mounting screws.

Installation Details

The Smart Toggle Switch works with incandescent, CFL, and LED lights, as well as any On/Off resistive load up to 1800W and motor loads to 1/2 HP. The switch supports single-pole or multi-pole applications, and works in conjunction with up to four additional Enbrighten Add-On Switches, sold separately. The switch requires standard screw terminal installation with wiring connections for Line (Hot), Load, Neutral, and Ground. Multi-pole installation also requires a traveler wire.
