This compact smart switch installs behind a wall switch, outlet, or in a tight space to add Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Matter, or Bluetooth remote control of lights and connected devices. It features 1 switch/button input, 2 power supply inputs, and 1 potential-free contacts relay input. It's compatible with various load types, such as resistive loads (incandescent bulbs and heating devices), capacitive loads (capacitor banks, electronic equipment, and motor start capacitors), and inductive loads (LED light drivers, transformers, fans, refrigerators, and air conditioners).

The Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 does not need a smart hub to operate and can be easily controlled via the Shelly Smart Control app (for iOS and Android). It also works with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri. Once integrated into your home network, you can create automation scenes, set schedules, and trigger local actions. For example, install a Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 behind your bedroom light switch and another with your thermostat. This lets you create an automation scene that turns on the bedroom light and heater together so you can wake up more easily in a warm, comfortable room.
