Secure a sliding or swinging gate with 600 pounds (272kg) of electromagnetic holding force with the Seco-Larm Enforcer Electromagnetic Gate Lock, Face or Surface Mount, 600 Lbs.. This electromagnetic lock is housed in a stainless steel shell and provides an ideal solution for securing a gate against unauthorized entry. When the lock is powered, a strong magnetic field is created to attract the lock to a steel armature plate that is mounted to the gate. The secured gate can only be opened once the electromagnet is deactivated. This electromagnetic lock also features MOV surge protection to ensure long-term reliability and all the mounting hardware needed to make installation quick and easy.

Installation Details

The Lock can be installed onto swing, double swing, and sliding gate installations.

For single swing gates, the electromagnetic lock must be face mounted to the gate post and the armature plate attached to the free end of the gate with a Z-bracket (sold separately).

For double swing gates, the electromagnetic lock must be face mounted to one end of the gate and the armature plate attached to the end of the other gate with the help of a Z-bracket (sold separately).

For sliding gates, the electromagnetic lock must be surface mounted to the gate post and the armature plate attached to the free end of the gate with an L-bracket (sold separately).
