Manage a large online network of nearly 50 devices with the Luxul 48 Port PoE+/SFP+ Gigabit Managed Switch! This front-facing managed network switch is designed to distribute Gigabit data transmissions for security, networking, and AV-over-IP (AVoIP) applications. This 48 port model supports forty eight Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, and four 10 Gigabit SFP+ expansion ports with a 176 Gbps switching capacity and 740W total power budget. Each of the forty eight PoE ports use a single PoE cable (Cat5 or above) to transmit data and power to 802.11af/at-compliant devices and can handle a max of 30W per port. Devices that are separately powered can use one of the PoE ports for network connectivity only. Each SFP+ expansion port allows for connection with additional network switches and can be aggregated together to reach up to 40 GB connection speed.
The Switch includes Layer 2/Layer 3 features and an easy-to-use management interface to simplify configuration from a local computer or controller. Easily setup Internet group management protocol (IGMP) on a per-port basis to customize your local network. Up to 16 network switches can be grouped in a single network and controlled from a single user-interface, allowing easy and comprehensive administration. This model includes a built-in fan with variable speed settings to keep the device cool or while providing quiet operation.
The Luxul 48 PoE+ / 4 SFP+ Gigabit Managed Switch can be placed atop or within a media cabinet or desktop, or rack mounted with the included 19 inch rack mounting kit.
