This smart lock turns your smartphone into the key to your home using Z-Wave (U.S.) and Bluetooth technology. The wireless remote door lock fits onto the inside of your door and works with existing deadbolts and turnkeys, making installation quick and easy. Control the August Smart Lock Pro (3rd Gen) with the free August App for Android and iOS, through your Z-Wave network, or via Wi-Fi with the August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge with COX HOMELIFE®, sold separately. This smart lock is compatible with the COX HOMELIFE® service and powered by COX PANORAMIC WIFI®, allowing you to control it remotely from anywhere using the COX PANORAMIC WIFI® app (requires the August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge).

This wireless remote door lock comes with a separate DoorSense Sensor that enables your lock to know when the door is open and closed. The small, discreet magnetic sensor surface-mounts onto your door frame, or flush-mounts into it, near the Smart Lock to detect whether or not the Smart Lock is near.
The August Smart Lock Pro (3rd Gen) is battery-powered and communicates with smartphones or the Apple Watch via Bluetooth. No power is required for the DoorSense Sensor. The wireless remote door lock can also be included into a Z-Wave automation or security network thanks to its Z-Wave Plus certification. In order to connect to a Wi-Fi network, an August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge must be installed and is required to control the device via Cox Panoramic Wi-Fi.
