The Smart Home Hub allows you to adjust settings for individual devices or set up scenes and scheduled events for entire rooms or your whole home. Receive notifications from your sensors, remotely control smart lights and appliances, and monitor energy usage all from your smartphone.
The Aeotec Smart Home Hub is controlled using the SmartThings mobile app, available for iOS and Android devices. Through the SmartThings app, users can add and manage devices, create automation routines, monitor sensor activity, and control their smart home remotely. Voice control compatibility is supported through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing users to control connected devices and activate routines using simple voice commands when paired with supported voice assistants.
The Aeotec illumino WallMote 7 is a battery powered remote control Z-Wave 700 switch designed to look and behave as a standard wall switch but with the benefits of a wireless remote controller. The WallMote 7 is capable of controlling virtually any Z-Wave device in your network via its Multi-tap functionality, issuing On/Off controls to lights and appliances, Dim/Brighten commands to dimmable lights, and activating/deactivating pre-programmed scenes.
Installation Details
The SmartThings Hub plugs into a standard outlet and can be placed onto a desktop surface or mounted within an equipment cabinet.
The WallMote 7 can be installed on any wall as a surface mount switch, placed into a standard 1-gang junction box, or used as a handheld remote control.
When surface mounted onto any wall, use the included double-sided tape, screw plate, screws and snap-on faceplate. The WallMote 7 magnetically affixes to the screw plate. When installed into a wall box, use the included wall plate, screw plate, screws, and snap-on faceplate. The WallMote 7 magnetically affixes to the screw plate.
