The X10 PRO Dimmer Wall Switch, 3-Way, replaces an existing 3-way wall switch to provide both local and X10 control of a connected light. This complete wire-in kit includes one master switch and one companion switch, providing both local and remote control for the connected light. It controls incandescent lights rated between 60W and 500W and has a power rating of 120VAC, 60Hz, Max 1/10 Amp. It's ideal for adding automation control to indoor/outdoor lights controlled by two or more switches (hallway, patio, stairway, front porch, and more). It also provides dimming functionality to a light when used with any X10 transmitter that supports DIM/BRIGHT control.

The X10 Dimmable Wall Switch Kit is a X10 Wired-In Receiver

A basic X10 system includes a Transmitter and a Receiver ‐ both sold separately. Transmitters are control devices that send X10 signals through your home's electrical wiring to X10 Receivers. When a Receiver receives a command, it responds by turning a light, appliance or other electrical device On or Off, and sometimes Dim or Bright.
