Add long range Z-Wave functionality to a number of lights or devices controlled by up to three switches or outlets with the Shelly Wave Pro 3 Channel Z-Wave 800 & Z-Wave LR Relay Module! This dry contact relay module mounts inside your breaker box to add Z-Wave and Z-Wave LR automated functionality, remote On/Off control to three electrical loads in your home or business. The Wave Pro 3 US supports up to 48A for a single load or up to 16A from three connected loads to allow you to add Z-Wave automated control over appliances, computers, or overhead lighting from one or two switches or outlets. Once installed, the Wave Pro 3 US will automatically connect to your existing Z-Wave network and enable your connected devices to respond to remote commands and automated scenes from the Shelly Smart Control app or your connected Z-Wave hub's app. The Wave Pro 3 US utilizes Z-Wave 800 and Z-Wave LR wireless technology to provide reliable and long range connectivity, increased encryption protection, and easier setup into Z-Wave networks.

Installation Details

The Shelly Wave Pro 3 US fits on a DIN rail inside a breaker box, and professional installation is required. A neutral wire is required for installation. The device will automatically attempt to locate and request inclusion into your local Z-Wave network after it is installed. In order to utilize Z-Wave LR communications, a Z-Wave LR compatible gateway or hub is required. Unlike standard Z-Wave mesh protocols, Z-Wave LR works as a star network, connecting a Z-Wave gateway directly to a Z-Wave LR device up to 1 mile (1.6km) away without using any other Z-Wave devices as a signal relay or node.

Z-Wave Plus v3 Certification

Z-Wave Plus v3 is an upgraded Z-Wave certification program to help you identify products that take advantage of the latest Z-Wave hardware platform, also known as 800 Series or Gen8 Z-Wave. Z-Wave Plus v3 compatible devices include extended wireless relay range up to 130 feet (40m) to the nearest Z-Wave device, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life.

Z-Wave LR Certification

Z-Wave LR extends Z-Wave connectivity beyond the boundaries of a single building with increased range and coverage and optimized battery life. Z-Wave LR devices operate on a star network topology which features a Z-Wave LR compatible gateway/hub at a central point and then establishes a direct connection to devices. ZWLR compatible devices offer up to 262 ft (80 m) indoor range line of sight and 1 mile (1.6km) outdoors without using any other Z-Wave devices as a signal relay or node. Z-Wave networks can support both Z-Wave LR and traditional Z-Wave nodes can co-exist within the same network, enabling a wide variety and combination of Z-Wave devices and Z-Wave LR devices.
