Connect Your Ceiling Fan to Your Wi-Fi Network
Add your ceiling fan to your smart home network with the Leviton Decora Smart Fan Speed Controller (2nd Gen). This Wi-Fi connected 4-speed fan wall switch controls a wired 120VAC fan up to 1.5 Amps with On/Off and 4 speed settings. The paddle rocker switch controls On/Off functions while the side vertical bar to the right of the rocker controls the fan speed. Built-in scheduling and internal memory allows you to program the switch to operate according to your schedule, automatically turning On/Off the controlled fan at specific times of day and at pre-designated speeds. Additional customization options include Auto-Shutoff Timer, Pre-Set Speed or Return to Last Speed, Min/Max Speed setting, and LED configuration. The switch's internal memory saves custom settings and scheduling, even during Internet outages, so your presets are saved until connection is restored. Settings are selected through the My Leviton mobile app or the app of a Wi-Fi compatible smart home hub.

Installation Details
The Fan Speed Controller mounts into a standard 1-gang box and uses a 3-wire connection. A neutral wire is needed for installation. If the connected ceiling fan is a combination fan/light kit, the lights of the fan/light kit can be controlled separately by using the D26HD or DN6HD with MLWSB. Additionally, a traveler wire connection is available for 3-way+ applications.

Notes
- The D24SF is designed for use with overhead ceiling paddle fans not to exceed 1.5A maximum load. Not for use with exhaust type fans.
- The D24SF is not for use with lighting loads or combined ceiling fan light kits; if there are two load wires (one for the fan and one for the light); the D24SF can be used to control the fan load and a D26HD Dimmer can be used to control the lighting load separately in a dual gang box.
