    Create Sub-Systems in the ABB Door Entry System

    The ABB Gateway is used to create sub-systems within a single ABB Door Entry System, or to amplify power or signal transmission. It offers five different modes to support various applications, which can be set by dipswitch. The Gateway must be wired into the System Controller (sold separately) and ideally should be mounted onto a DIN rail (not included) according to DIN EN 500022.

    5 Different Modes

    • Building: Enables one building as an independent sub-system (outdoor station(s)/guard unit(s) can be connected). Up to 60 such systems are supported within the whole system. The gateway address is equal to the riser number.
    • Floor: Enables a multi-apartment as an independent sub-system (another outdoor station can be connected, for example in front of the door of the floor with the multi-apartment). The gateway address
