Dakota Alert MURS Motion Alarms

The Dakota Alert MURS Wireless Driveway Alarm system consists of RF wireless vehicle detection transmitters that connect to a single receiver up to half a mile away to report movement detected around your property. MURS stands for “Multiple Use Radio Service”, which is reflected in the number of security applications that these devices can be used for. Dakota Alert MURS vehicle detection transmitters detect vehicle movement through vibration sensors that can be hidden underground. A 2-way handheld radio transceiver can be used as a receiver when paired with MURS vehicle detection transmitters or as a wireless communication device with other MURS radio transceivers. Each Dakota Alert MURS receiver can pair with up to 5 Dakota Alert Transmitters and 38 handheld radio transceivers. Dakota Alert MURS-series devices are incompatible with 4000-series devices and vice versa.
