Enable Wireless Transmission for Hardwired Smoke Detectors
When your traditional hardwired smoke detectors sound an alarm, make sure your security system receives an alert too by adding the 2GIG Wireless FireFighter Smoke Detector Sensor-Transmitter. This battery-powered sensor mounts up to 6 inches away from a UL-listed smoke detector. It senses when an audible alarm sounds using its built-in microphone, and then transmits a wireless alarm signal to your 2GIG/Honeywell (or other 345MHz) alarm panel.
The sensor can be used with a single hardwired smoke detector or an entire interconnected smoke detection system. When smoke is detected by any or all of your interconnected smoke detectors, your alarm panel will receive an alarm signal. Only one sensor is required to enable wireless communication for an interconnected smoke detection system.
