    Installation guide for the X10 PRO XPS2 Double Pole 20A Wall Switch — a heavy-duty X10 wall switch module designed for controlling pumps, air conditioners, and motors up to 2Hp.

    Overview

    The XPS2 Double Pole (240VAC), 20A Wall Switch is designed for controlling pumps, air conditioners, and 2Hp motors.

    Installing the Double Pole Wall Switch Module

    • Disconnect power at the circuit breaker.
    • Remove the existing switch from its box. Identify both legs of 120VAC, then connect L1 to the black wire on the XPS2 and L2 to the red wire on the XPS2.
    • Connect the blue and yellow wires from the XPS2 to the 240VAC, 20A load.
    • Connect the green wire from the XPS2 to ground.
    • Gently pry the removable decorative paddle up at the center point to set the house and unit code to match the controller you're using (e.g. PHC01 Mini Controller, or the X10 PRO2000 Digital Security Console using Unit Code 5 on the software download to control your HVAC).

    Note: The XPS2 does NOT respond to the "ALL LIGHTS ON" command like other X10 PRO wall switches.
